June 2010- -Present 2010- Multiple Companies Teaching online nursing curriculum,
tutoring and consulting for various proprietary and non-proprietary schools, cu
rriculum preparation and consulting. Assuring quality in the delivery of curricu

August 2009-June 2010-Dean of Nursing-Rasmussen College School of Nursing-Ocala,

* Serves as the liaison between the nursing program and the larger college syste
m and between the nursing program and the community.

Assists with the development of program promotional materials, open houses and
other related events.
* Advises and counsel students in the nursing program; facilitate communication
and maintain satisfactory relationships between students and faculty members.
* Currently sit on Curriculum Committee, Policies and procedures committee, and
Safety Committee as well as nurse advisory board. Teaches courses, individual c
lasses or seminars as qualifications permit. Monitors the execution of the plann
ing process on behalf of the entire campus in coordination with the Director of
Nursing, the Vice President of Academic Affairs and other senior management. Ens
ure the nursing program operations are conducted in compliance with applicable s
tate, federal, and local laws, regulations and ordinances and within standards o
f accreditation. Subject matter expert for the creation of two completed courses
and three more pending.
* Proficient in online Angel training platform for online course delivery. Able
to use Whiteboard in online tutoring and communication.
* Attending Ph.D. classes online. Developed and implemented a weekly study sessi
ons titled Study Sessions with the Dean that resulted in an improvement in all c
ourse in the ADN program in student grades of 9% in one semester.
* During a period of ten months added five new clinical facilities for student p
racticum. Works with High School admissions team in community through public spe
aking. Attends and organizes community health fairs through relationships with c
hurch and community leaders. Enrollment and reenrollment committee. Retention an
d recruitment duties.
* Instrumental in curriculum change resulting in increased NCLEX pass rates. Dev
eloped successful remediation program resulting in a 9 percent increase in grade
s in each course of the ADN curriculum. Developed proposal to BON for Practical
Nurse and PN-RN Transition Track.
* Subject matter expert for two courses currently in process of development work
ing with instructional design for completion. Proficient in online learning.
