*OBJECTIVE*

To find a forward thinking technology based company with whom I can continue fur
thering my experience and attempt to satiate my passion for technology, design a
nd interaction. The ideal company would have an appreciation for passionate, mul
ti-faceted, creative technologists. Companies driven strictly by salesmen and of
fice politics are something I try to avoid. A final product should be usable, f
unctional, and aesthetically pleasing so to properly represent not only the comp
any but also the artists and developers behind the process.

*WORK HISTORY*
Freelance, 2001 - Current
----------------------------
Involved in a number of different projects over the last ten years, including bu
t not limited to: Graphic Design, Back-end and Front-end Development (Desktop an
d Web) as well as Technical Consulting and Support. Have seen over two-hundred p
rojects through to completion for a number of clients in a wide range of categor
ies. A complete project list, including descriptions, client comments, and rati
ngs can be made available upon request.

Director, I.T. / Creative Technologist, 2006 - Current

----------------------------
Designed and developed a content delivery system utilizing the BitTorrent protoc
ol, including a management interface that is used to create and assign content p
ackages to remote systems. Systems are notified automatically when a package is
assigned and the content transfers automatically. BitTorrent was chosen becaus
e of it's inherit integrity checks and distrubution of transfers amongst peers.
Designed and developed a complete systems monitoring back-end to provide informa
tion and status updates nearly real-time, including projector and system status
monitoring. Created live web interface for all systems on a single page. Server
components were written in C#, Ruby, PHP, MySQL, and Apache. A lightweight net
work protocol was used to ensure communication across even problematic wireless
connections.
As Creative Technologist, created numerous interactive advertisements using Flas
h, WPF, OpenCV, and custom algorithims to enhance the functionality of each. Pr
oject assistance from other co-workers varied from project to project. Previous
experience within Monster Media provided insight to the technologies used and ga
ve a "full picture" advantage. Clients included JC Decaux, National CineMedia,
MTV, YouTube, Kraft, Target, Disney, TravelZoo and more.
Other projects included an analytics engine for Flash which is now implemented i
n all new content; an AJAX rating, approval and filter system for incoming data
to be marked as valuable or safe, or discarded; a second iteration of the back-e
nd for monitoring the remote systems; and work with Gumstix and Arduino chip-on-
module systems.

Senior Software Architect, 2003 - 2006

----------------------------
Designed and developed software suite that dynamically updates user lists and en
ables communication between various devices within wireless networks. The syste
m automatically builds and maintains a list of available users associated with t
he network in real-time, without reliance on a centralized server for authentica
tion. Various types of communication including text-based messaging, file trans
fer and audio / video communication are some of the primary features. The softwa
re is still being licensed to first responders today.
Developed software which collects video from cameras connected to wireless mesh-
networks, using numerous protocols. Presets can be created by administrators fo
r easy access to predefined groups of devices while in the field. Primary inten
ded use is for first-responders in areas where communications infrastructure has
been compromised and/or destroyed.
Software patents for both methodologies (#20070200914 and #20090238096) were gra
nted in 2009.
