A challenging opportunity in Engineering Management, in which

present and prior experience, a strong technical education, and
personal skills will be fully utilized.

Accomplishments:
My thirty five years of engineering and management experience have included a se
ries of increasingly responsible positions in design and construction management
of Capital Construction Projects. As an Engineering Manager of GOH Engineering
in the Division of Car Equipment, I have managed all engineering aspects of car
overhaul contracts of 1600 cars with contractors such as General Electric Corp.,
Morrison Knudsen Corp., and Sumitomo Corp. which led to a tremendous change in
the MDBF of our rail-car fleet. As a Manager of Passenger Environment Engineerin
g Systems I had managed the specification development of New Technology cars and
has worked closely with user , sponsor, and maintainer departments in the proto
type car testing and approvals.
Presently I am working as a Design Manager in CPM Capital Program Ma
nagement, infrastructure Program with a total of 12 projects in the Capital Prog
ram. In 2005 my group accomplished the award of six Capital Construction Project
s with a bid savings of $13M. In 2006 my group's effort has contributed $3M in b
id savings towards the Authority's savings initiative. In 2007 with our leadersh
ip and teamwork abilities we were able to award Battery & Control Cable project
with $10M savings. In addition my group's effort has contributed $3.5M in bid sa
vings in 2008 towards Authority's savings initiative as well as provided design
support during construction on various projects, which were in construction. In
2009 our group's efforts has contributed $2.5M in bid savings towards Authority
's savings initiative. I am presently managing the very first project in CPM us
ing BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology.
