Q. #1 Describe the early movies. What was the photography like? Ho did the
people in the film move?

In the early part of the century there was no facility to make the motion picture.
people only have to still camera .An American inventor Thomas A. Edison made
the first motion picture “animated picture” the motion picture is the big invention
the quality of the picture was very poor the photography is not impressive the
people who worked in the film its move fast and the jerky way and the picture
flicked during the play the movie can not seen correctly and move up and down
the over all photography and quality as very poor.

Q. #2 Was Hollywood chosen as a natural place for making movies? Why was
sun shine important for making movies in early years ?

Hollywood chosen only natural places for making the movies because the reason
behind it is that movie maker want sunny area as Los Angeles , C A They want
natural light in every day for shooting out doors. In early days made many movies
in out doors in the presence of sunlight. They want movies natural and genuine
and near to reality.

Q. #3 why did the talkies bring in new actors and cause the retirement of others?

In the late 1920s the talkies introduce. The silent movies found voice and music.
The photography is recorded and it is very good and the sound track is also
printed in different languages like Arabic, English, Etc next to the picture.
Because of this it is easy to understand if anything is missing in the picture. It
also give a big change to those who are the stars of the silent films, those were
not trained to express their words to the people has to retire and many new
actors and actresses introduce into the industry.

Q. #1 what are some of the subjects that Shakespeare wrote about?

Shakespeare wrote nearly about 34 plays, some are comedy some are tragedies
as well as historical plays. The theme of the play driven from the events in
English, Scottish, Roman and Greek histories. His plays plays are very good
manner Shakespeare character act out universal human problem. A man of his
numerous qualities he had a quality to enter in to e mind of his fellow man.

Q. #2 what aspect of hamlet’s character is mentioned in the reading? Of


Macbeth’s? Of Othello’s?

Q. #3 How did look in to the two sphere of life?

He looks life very important adventure. He saw both sides of life its joys and
sorrows if his life is sorrows and sadness if his life is joys and happiness he live
happily too in both way. he never looked up on one side of life.

Q. #1 what kind of songs was the basis of jazz? Who sang them? Where?

The basis of jazz is very poor in quality musical instrument which he made for
himself from boxes,barrels,brooms . His voice was his principal means of musical
expression. Negro sang them the song of work and play, trouble and hope, rose
on rich and rhythmic voices. Negro folk singing that once flourished through out
the rural south land of the united state before the civil war.

Q. #2 why has there always been a strong singing quality to jazz?

Negro people imitated to their horns their music and instruments. When they
thought themselves to band instrument that came in to there hands before the
civil war of eighteen sixties (1860) its is became the extension of the music voice
of the singing group called the “singing horn” it is the very opened ay of jazz for
this reason there has always been a strong, singing quality to jazz.

Q. #3 why where the early jazz musician able to extend the range of the horns?
What did they know about tradition rules of music?

The early jazz musician might never have been able to play those famous high
notes because they have no facilities and instruments of good quality so the
Old time negro trumpet players had known that this was the range in which the
instrument were not ordinary suppose to play.

Q. #4 what other influence beside the African drumming style can be found in
jazz?

Drum beating style is very familiar in Africans the rhythm of the drum show the
negro musician turn to African heritage, building much of their music over the
rhythm of African drums. This is new to western ears, gave this new music a
singing dancing character of its own.
Q. #5 what did blue singer sing about? What from did the blue develop?

The blue singer were basically vocal music they usually sing requiring no more to
play music with supported of guitar or a harmonica. They spoke a language
which Negron already understood they sing a very nice kind of song speech
which coming directly from the singers emotions blues spoke of trouble and joys,
and express the general feeling about life and love which grew directly out of the
Negro community. The blues also became the musical folk poetry of the
American Negro people.

Q. # 6 what events did the brass band play at ?

They play at the store of social events. They play for dances, wedding, picnics,
and parades some time simply for the sheer love of hearing the new voice that
their horn gave them in the funeral marches, they play sad songs on the way to
the cemetery but once the funeral was over, the songs band would march back
playing gay and spirited and tune or a rollicking blues.
