Personal Statement
I have acquired many skills in my employment history. I have a Police background
that also led to club security and cash transportation. I have always been invo
lved in building i.e. houses, decks, add on rooms and whatever needed maintained
or built. Recently I have been the chief engineer for three local radio station
s. I have a knack for looking at something and knowing what was needed to make i
t better. I also have 15 years of managing a commercial building.
Recently acquired my Security "D" and "G" licenses.

Work Experience
Chief Radio Engineer (October 1987 - Present)
JVC Broadcasting, 3075 Veterans Highway
Responsible for daily maintenance of equipment and transmitters.
On call 365/24 for emergencies such as off-air.
Proficient with ISDN codecs and POTS line codecs used for broadcasts.
Telephone programming.
New telephone line installs.
Knowledgeable in T-1's.

During same period of time, am the building manager for a commercial building d
ealing with tenants and their problems. Did minor plumbing and electrical repair
s. Oversaw contractors hired by tenants. Took electrical meter readings and did
the monthly rent bills.

For additional income worked as an armed security officer for a Hamptons Night
Club for two years. Also oversaw security for a banquet hall/club for three year
s.

Radio Announcer (August 1977 - October 1987)

Worked at various radio stations in Canada and Long Island NY as an announcer, d
oing daily shows and personal appearrances. Promotions director conceiving and f
ollowing through on ideas to enhance a clients business and to promote the radio
station, and program director, overseeing other announcers and assisting them i
n getting better at their jobs and making sure they complied with existing CRTC
and FCC rules. Moved from one to another to increase income.

Police Officer (November 1968 - August 1977)

igating various crimes, traffic investigating accidents and vehicle enforcement,
 juvenile squad handling crimes against children and buy children.

Building Manager (October 1994 - Present)

Responsible for calculating rents and creating invoices. Made minor repairs to p
lumbing and electrical and to oversee contractors when required for buildout of
commercial space in building. On call for tenants problems and either fixed the
problem or called in the appropriate contractor.
I was also responsible for security of the building.
