Employee Benefit Plan Administration:
. Design, develop, and administer cost effective benefits programs
including group health, dental, vision, group life, AD&D, LTD, STD,

vendors, and brokers.
. Manage all third party vendors responsible for benefit plan service
delivery including contract negotiation, benefits administration,
service levels, problem resolution, COBRA/HIPAA benefits

and employees through an offsite Benefits Services Center servicing
over 3,500 employees/dependents. Managed healthcare plan "Open
Enrollment" processes and record administration.

. Interfaced directly with 401(k) and retirement savings plans record

participants in each plan. Oversaw investment management, the plan's
operational compliance, and ERISA compliance.

. Ensured all benefit plans were in compliance with all current federal
and state regulations/guidelines including governmental reporting and

UNION MANAGEMENT:
. Participated in two national union negotiations. Key negotiator in
employee benefits agreements. Benefit plan included medical, vision,
dental, and prescription drug coverage; legal services; supplemental
unemployment benefits; tuition assistance and 401k Plans.
. Participated in negotiation of effective wage and benefit agreements
which provided a competitive wage agreement for usage.
. Provided direct counsel and support to Union Benefit Representatives
in two UAW represented locations. Provided resolution to benefit
related issues raised by local and international union representative
resulting in cooperative working relationships among the parties.

OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATION:
. Coordinated efforts of legal and consulting support teams to ensure
benefits efforts implemented.
. Managed the day-to-day administration of employee personnel records to
ensure personnel transactions appropriately tracked in Peoplesoft.
Ensured appropriate internal control over access and utilization of HR
information and systems. Functioned as HIPAA administrator for
company. Prepared, analyzed and reported HR and Benefit related
financial data to support senior management decision.
