aDirected the operational performance of the Wing orchestrating the deployment o
f multiple tactical squadrons and thousands of individual Marines balancing both
operational and training demands; Responsible for all short term air and ground
operations, as well as long lead time operational planning for Operation Iraqi
Freedom and other contingency operations. Accountable for training, execution, a
nd movement planning for units within and outside the United States.
aInitially and single-handedly coordinated 4th MAW aviation support, rescue and
relief efforts throughout the gulf coast region following Hurricane Katrina. 4t
h MAW aviation and communications units were the first to participate in the res
cue efforts in New Orleans. Led 15 man Operations staff with follow-on operatio
ns that provided direct support of military personnel, cargo lift and humanitari
an assistance to the region for over 3 months.
aLed multiple integrated planning teams in the analysis, feasibility of support
and ultimate execution directive to provide aviation support to a Training Progr
am in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; analyzing requirements and developing
plans for aircraft, personnel support, budgeting requirements, providing in-proc
ess and executive decision briefs. Planning to implementation was 4 months, pro
viding sole-source control, innovative financing, and increased overall aviation
support 60% to the program.
aSuccessfully planned and executed on an annual basis a $2+ million training bud
get integrating over 200+ requests and mandatory support requirements.

J/T/W, UH-1N (Bell 212), CH-53E, T-34C, UC-12B (King Air 200). Held all Instruc
tor, flight leadership and mission qualifications in the AH-1 helicopter. Highl
y experienced with military aviation operations, maintenance, aviation and groun
d safety, aircraft electro-optical sensors (FLIR, NVD), LASER, aviation electron
ic systems, communications and numerous aviation/ground based weapons systems.
