Un día, Jesús estaba

en una colina. Una

gran multitud se
reunió para
escucharlo hablar. Le
habló a la gente
maravillas del amor
de Dios y de Su Reino
que vendría un día a
la Tierra.

One day, Jesus was on

a hillside. A great
crowd had gathered to
listen to Him speak. He
told them wonderful
things about God’s love
and His kingdom that
was to come one day.
 Luego de muchas horas, la
gente empezó a tener
hambre. Los discípulos se
preocuparon. Dijeron,
“Maestro, la gente debe volver
a su casa a comer. ¡Es tarde y
tienen mucho hambre!”
Pero Jesús tenía otro plan.
“¿Por qué no les dan algo de
comer?” les dijo.

After many hours had passed,

the disciples said “Master, the
people should be sent home to
eat. It’s getting late and they will
be very hungry!”
But Jesus had something else in
mind. “Why don’t you give them
something to eat?” He said.
 Respondieron los
discípulos. “Bueno, un
niño aquí tiene cinco
panes y dos peces,
¡pero eso no basta
para alimentar a miles
de personas!”

The disciples said, “Well,

there’s a young boy here
with five little rolls of
bread and two fish, but
that’s not enough to feed
thousands of people!”
 Jesús sonrió. Ese poquito
de comida era lo que
necesitaba para hacer el
milagro. Cerró los ojos y oró
a Dios, Su Padre. Luego
bendijo la comida.
“Ahora lleven la comida y
empiecen a distribuirla,” les
dijo a los discípulos.

Jesus smiled. That little bit of

food was just what He needed
to do a miracle. He prayed to
God, His Father. Then He said
a blessing for the food.
“Now take the food and start
passing it out”, He instructed
His disciples.
 La gente se sentó
sobre la ladera de la
colina. Más de cinco
mil se reunieron a
escuchar a Jesús ese
día, ¡y todos comieron!
De cinco panes y dos
peces. ¡Y hasta sobró
comida! ¡Un milagro
estupendo!

The people sat down all

along the hillside. Over
five thousand people
had gathered to hear
Jesus that day, and
every single one was
fed! There was even
food left over! What a
wonderful miracle!
