My name is Ngoun Kosal, who was appointed as a hub-master to replace

Mr. Sok Sidon at The Wahrenbrock Family School #235, this school was
donated by Mr. Scott A. Wahrenbrock in 2004, it is located in Takeo
province, Koh Andeth district, Pech Sa commune, Chong Angkar village.I would like to report to you on all realities of teaching computer
and English for the month of February 2011.Firstly, I would like to show contents to you.

I have got 25 students in total for computer (15 girls and 10 boys),and I have got 62 students in total for English class (35 girls and
27boys). They always come to learn computer and English everyday. Theyhave paid attention to learn and have taken knowledge well.
They couldpractice typing as 20 to 25 words per minutes for computer class, andthey write own name and they have ability to understand
and speakdialog 83 percents for English class.2- Schedule of computer and English teachings- I have got 25 students in total for computer
class (15 girls and 10
boys). I have divided teaching into two sessions are in the morning
and in the afternoon, I usually teach 4 hours per day, 24 hours perweek and 96 hours per month, I teach to start from Monday to
Saturday,group 1 I teach to start from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, group 2 I teach to
start from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, group 3 I teach to start from 1:00 to
2:00 PM and group 4 I teach to start from 2:00 to 3:00.
- I have got 62 students in total for English class (35 girls and 27
boys), I have divided teaching into two sections are in the morningand in the afternoon, I usually teach 4 hours per day, 22 hours perweek
and 88 hours per month, I teach to start from Monday to Friday.Saturday and Sunday are my vacation but I have chosen 35 of the
students to teach special conversation class which my purpose offattening to have talent their speaking. Saturday group 1 I teach tostart
from 2:00 to 3:00 PM and group 2 I teach to start from 3:00 to4:00 PM and Sunday group 1 I teach to start from 8:00 to 9:00 AM and
group 2 I teach to start from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, for Monday to Friday I
teach let's go book such as group1 I teach to start from 7:00 to 8:00AM, group 2 I teach to start from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, group 3 I teach to
start from 3:00 to 4:00 PM and group 4 I teach to start from 4:00 to5:00 PM.3- Computer class and result of student Group 1, group 2,
group 3 and group 4 they have finishedoff basic of computer is typing and they have been learning with
Microsoft Word 2003 such as Microsoft Word 2003 processing, exitingthrough Microsoft Word 2003, and they have been learning how to
typedocuments. They could practice typing as 20 to 25 words per minutes,they like learning computer every much, they try their best to
learnand practice them in compute I write the lesson down on the white board and slowlyexplain in the computer.Result of students
- Very good: 3 girls (10 scores) - Good: 4 girls and 1 boy (8-9 scores) - Fair: 12 girls and 3 boys (5-7 scores)
- Weak: 2 boys (3-4 scores)
Total of knowledge percent is 92%4- English class and result of students Group 1, group 2, group 3 and group 4 is finished off unit
3 in let's go 1, and they have been learning unit 4 in let' go 1. They enjoy learning English so much; they always spend
more time learning the lesson which I have taught, and therefore thehomework, too. They practice taking dialog between their classmates
that have augmented their memory well and absolutely brilliant.
This month they could write themselves own name as English language,know vocabularies such as name, pencil case, notebook, fish et
ceterafor phrasal verb such as go to, pick up, stand up, sit down et cetera,
for the dialog such as What is your name? How are you? What is this?What are these? What color is it? Et cetera, for grammar is referred
to words with question word such as What, How, and How + many, a andan (indefinite article), transform singular noun into plural
noun.This everything they could well understand how to certainly use. Result of students Very good: 4 girls (10 scores)
Good: 10 girls and 2 boys (8-9 scores)- Fair: 17 girls and 19 boys (5-7 scores)
Weak: 4 girls and 6 boys (2-4 scores)Total of knowledge percent is 83%
I generally greet them with good-morning and good-afternoon when comein to the classroom, and I review the lesson which I taught them
yesterday by asking them to take out their writing-board to writevocabularies, after I take dialog with 7 students. When I start to
teach the new lesson I always connect them with asking that 'What istoday is day?', 'Date?', 'Month?', 'Year?', 'What is unit?' and
'section?', they reply to me and spell. I write the new vocabularieson the white board and I read alone once, all the students in the
classroom read to follow me once, all the students read by themselvesthree times, and all students read one and one, I read the lesson inthe
book and translate from English meaning into Khmer meaning onceand 6 students read and interpret English meaning into Khmer
meaning,I tape the cassette three times while I am taping the cassette all thestudents speak to follow, I choose 8 students play a role back,
as theend time I hurry to review the lesson and put the homework, too.
5- Maintenance of equipmentThe students clean up the classroom, 7 computers, a UPS, IP star, aprinter and a book case two times per day
are in the morning andafternoon. All equipments are well worked but the internet is uneven.
6- Problem of equipment7- Living standardI am very well.8- Conditional situationI have good relationship with all state teachers; include
principle ofschool and villagers, I always go to visit the citizens in villageevery my leisure time
9- Schedule of teaching in March 2011 I am going to finish five the lessons are unit 4, unit 5
unit 6, unit 7 and unit 8 in let's go 1 for English class, for five
units I am teaching vocabularies, phrasal verb, dialog and grammar
question words such as What + about? How + old? and Where?

I am going to continue teaching Microsoft Word 2003 such


as Page Setup, Header and Footer, Change case, Change font, Formatting
text and Word Art. I try to slowly explain to them to be easy to
understand and I teach how to well-design documents to them.
