Customer Centric Approach

The information captured can be used for all the accounts of the said customers. Detail
customer information is captured and stored while creating customer master e.g.

01. Membership No. (If the customer is a share holder) linking the same to the Membership
database.

03. In case of Minor – details of Birth Date and Guardian information
04. Detail Personal Information like Driving License No., Passport No, PAN No., Present

Deposits

01. Product Definition – You can create various Deposit products by setting the parameters in
General Ledger Maintenance. (For Example you can create General Ledger for Savings
Deposits, Current Deposits, Term Deposits, Short Term Deposits, Pigmy Deposits etc.)
02. Demand and Time Deposits settings are parameterized as well as you may have different
levels of General Ledger Heads (e.g. Main Groups / Sub Groups and Sub-Sub Groups)
03. Mode of operation can be set for every account (Single, joint, E or S etc.)
04. Account Numbers are Numeric and generated automatically.
05. Facility to Print the Statement of Account as well as supports Passbook Printing.
06. Customer Statements are available Online and can be generated as and when required.
07. Other Parameters / facilities available in the module are
a. Maintain Status of Account (Active, Freeze, Closed etc.)

19. Periodically reports can be generated which is called Turn over report which contains –
average balance maintained in the account, Max balance during the period, Min balance
during the period, total interest during the period, number of deposits and number of
withdrawals during the period etc.
20. Flexi deposit scheme where Savings or Current account can be linked to fixed deposit
accounts. Balance can be transferred to fixed deposit by maintaining minimum balance in
the account. At the time of withdrawal if the balance is not in the main account then it will
be taken from the fixed deposits.

22. For Non-cumulative deposits the system accepts standing instruction for interest amount.
The interest amount can be transferred to the designated account.
23. User can set the parameters for automatic renewals of accounts (In Fixed Deposit
Accounts)
24. Printing of user definable Fixed Deposit Receipts. User can customize the receipts as per
their requirements.

24. Maintains due dates of renewal limits and alerts at the time of voucher entry. (if
renewal date < today’s date)
25. EMI can be calculated automatically depending on the Sanctioned amount, rate of
interest and period of loan. Repayment schedule is generated automatically.

27. System provides facility to transfer the interest amount to loan account (in case of

Tax Deducted At Source


The income tax department has decided and instructed all the banks to deduct tax from the
interest amount if interest amount is more than 10,000. The limit of 10,000 has been reduced
to Rs.5,000 in this year's budget. So if the bank is interest on Deposits is more than
Rs.5,000.00 then by rule the bank should deduct the Tax amount from the account holder and
should deposit the tax amount to Income Tax department.
