One of 27 company-owned food and supply distribution operations throughout North
America.
Vice President Strategic Development (2007-2009)
Drove logistics operations in alignment with organizational goals and objectives
in collaboration with the company President. Oversaw the daily activities of 36
employees, including office personnel and delivery drivers. Partnered in the de
velopment of and deployed new compensation plans for the transportation and deli
very team.
Major Achievements:
Decreased operating costs and increased profitability by streamlining operation
s and consolidating truck routes.
Boosted delivery truck utilization and driver schedules by 25% while reducing o
perating cost.
Reduced problem accounts from 30 to 10 while keeping them within credit terms.
Improved turn around time from order to delivery by 25%, and raised consumer sa
tisfaction levels by 10%.
Vice President of Sales (2005-2007)
Directed the $26M+ in annual sales Food Service Division operations. Led the cre
ation of strategic and tactical marketing plans. Developed company sales goals a
nd identified opportunities to grow market share, increase brand visibility and
meet customer needs. Supervised a staff of 8 sales and 2 support personnel.
Major Achievements:
Acted as the main point-of-contact between executive management, the sales team
and operations in relation to controlling expenditures.
Collaborated with the sales team in developing preferred provider relationships
with key customers in the metro Atlanta area.
Achieved 112% of 2006 annual sales targets.
