UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
ALL COURSES
1. Uniform of the day is the seasonal MARPAT utility uniform. However Service Charlies or
Bravos are worn every Friday of the month. (Seasonal)
2. PT is conducted in various uniforms. Students should have green shorts, green sweats, white
socks (no logos), yellow glow belt, and plain green t-shirts (no unit or “commercially
branded” T-shirts will be worn)
3. Students will wear the Service Alpha uniform for check-in, pictures and graduation.
5. Computer assets vary by local academy; students are highly encouraged to bring a
laptop.
CORPORALS COURSE
1. Field training is conducted in seasonal MARPAT. Seasonal items should be issued and
brought by the students accordingly. (i.e., gortex, poly pro, gloves, beanie)
2. Students will have the following gear issued to them prior to reporting to the academy.
SERGEANTS COURSE
1. Students will attend a Mess Night. (Service “A” or Blue Dress” “A” or “B” -- white trousers
required during certain times of year). Ref: ALMAR 059/01 paragraph 3.a.(14)
2. Field training is conducted in green MARPAT. Due to weather conditions during the winter,
students should bring military issued cold weather gear, to include gloves.
3. It is advised that you bring eye protective gear for the night Land Navigation exercises.
4. Each Student will have the following 782 Gear in their possession upon reporting to the SNCO
Academy:
CAREER COURSE
1. Students will attend a Mess Night (Seasonal Service "A", Blue Dress "A" or “B” (white
trousers required during certain times of year). Ref: ALMAR 059/01 paragraph 3.a.(14)
2. Field training is conducted in seasonal MARPAT. Due to weather conditions during the winter,
students should bring military issued cold weather gear, to include gloves
3. You will be required to give a brief in business casual attire while attending the Career Course.
Business casual attire is comparable to the service “C” or “B” uniform and is not considered
“casual day.” Examples of unacceptable items are jeans, shorts, sandals, boots, or tennis shoes.
4. Each Student will have the following 782 Gear in their possession upon reporting to the SNCO
Academy:
ADVANCED COURSE
1. Uniform of the day is the seasonal MARPAT utility uniform. However, Service Charlies or
Bravos are worn every Friday of each month (seasonal).
2. It is recommended that attendees bring a camelback, however those who do bring a camel back
will be provided a canteen for the duration of the course. It is also recommended that attendees
bring an extra pair of authorized combat boots.
3. Students will attend a professional dinner in professional civilian attire (Men: shirt, tie, and
slacks, sport coat or blazer, or Professional Suit. Ladies: Dress, skirt or pant suit).
4. Lastly, it is encouraged that attendees bring an electronic copy of their professional bio, with a
command photo.
