To consider making representations to the IWC to replace the slide at the
swimming pool, after the Island Games are completed (deferred from last month)

8. 2011 IW Festival – Cllrs Whiteman and Craven


To support a post-Festival 'wash-up' meeting for Newport residents on 4th July
at the Riverside Centre

9. Pedestrian Safety in Newport Town Centre – Cllr Prior


To consider pedestrian safety issues in Newport Town centre (Paper E)

10. Newport Firework Display – Cllrs Craven, Lumley, Ward and Whiteman
To consider hosting a firework display in Newport on 5th November (Paper F)

11. Gazebo and banner for NPC events – Cllr Ward


To consider purchasing a sturdy pop up gazebo – 3m x 4.5m and name banner
for use at future outdoor events – approx budget £1,000

To consider reinstating the sun dial and cleaning the information plaque on the
plinth in St James Square
