By the time you get this letter in your mail you might be preparing for your summer internship which is an important part of MBA curriculum and a great opportunity for you to impress upon the company you are in, so that it turns out to be a prelude to your final placement. You must try to make the best out of this opportunity and get well acquainted with the real life experience of a corporate world besides understanding the application of different nuances of management that you have learnt so far. I also take this opportunity to say good bye to you. You are aware of the difficulties that iLEAD has experienced for last few months on account of an interpretation of statutory provisions in MP laws relating to higher education. The Dept. of Higher Education of the MP Govt. objected to several institutions in MP including ours conduction courses of any university other than the local university. We have tried in different ways to continue providing you coaching and other academic support while abiding by the laws but that has not been possible from iLEAD beyond a certain time. While you will legitimately continue to be the bona fide students of Alagappa Universitys MBA programme iLEAD School of Business has to cease to operate in its current format. Consequently I cease to be your Dean with effect from today. It has been an enchanting experience to have welcomed you to the course and interacted with you. Every interaction in the class room as well as outside, every question asked by you compelled me and my other faculty colleagues to look back into the text books and research that made us far wiser and knowledgeable. Your enthusiasm and inquisitiveness, endurance and understanding during the entire period of one year was the main strength on which we in iLEAD boasted to be a B-school cut above the rest. Having taken you in iLEAD fold, rest assured shaping your career will continue to be the most important concern. In absence of iLEAD one of the best possible alternative arrangements are being made and most of the faculty members services will continue to be available to you in as liberal measure as it has been while in iLEAD. You should therefore, not have slightest of any doubt or any concern about the sources or flow of learning and knowledge that were assured to you in the beginning. These will be available to you until you are placed in a suitable position in an appropriate profession on successful completion of the course.

While I will not be in your midst my deep interest in your academic performance, summer internship, and assistance in your final placement besides any other academic support that could be rendered sans my presence will be available as my commitment to Zurich Education and Research and to your cause will continue. I will ever cherish the memories of the time spent with you in iLEAD. For a teacher, there is no moment happier than one when he sees his student progressing in career and life. While iLEAD has ceased its operations the spirit of iLEAD will prevail that will always inspire you wherever you may be.
