Sub: Determination of tariff for sale of electricity from Wind Power Plants in the State to Distribution Licensees during FY 2010-11 of the control period 2009-14.
1. The RERC Tariff Regulations 2009 under regulation 85 provide for automatic tariff revision through Tariff Indexation Mechanism for every financial year as outlined therein for wind energy projects to be commissioned during the Control Period. The performance parameters for tariff determination of wind power plants for the base year of MYT Control Period i.e. FY 2009-10 have also been specified at regulation 83. Based on these parameters, the commission has determined the Generic tariff for sale of electricity from wind power plants for the first year of control period i.e. FY 2009-10 vide its order dated 16.07.2009 as under: Jaisalmer, Barmer and Jodhpur Particulars Other Districts Districts Levelised Tariff Rs 4.28/kWh Rs 4.50/kWh The above tariff is linked to the indexation mechanism specified under Regulation 85 of the Tariff Regulations 2009.Accordingly,the Tariff for the Wind Energy Projects for the year FY 2010-11 shall be as under: Jaisalmer, Barmer and Jodhpur Particulars Other Districts Districts Levelised Tariff Rs 3.83/kWh Rs 4.03/kWh The detailed computations of indexation mechanism and determination of tariff for FY 2010-11 thereof, have been enclosed as Annexure-I of this order.
