Initiate needed lifestyle changes d. Demonstrate appropriate coping behaviors Interventions 1. Determine presence of factors/physical conditions 2. Assess patients condition 3. Auscultate chest and note rate and depth of respirations, and type of breathing pattern 4. Monitor vital signs, every four hours 5. Monitor patients intake and output 6. Maintain a calm and quiet environment 7. Recommend energy conservation techniques and pacing of activities 8. Encourage adequate rest periods 9. Encourage ambulation or exercise Evaluation
