DAYS 12: Your exciting safari begins as you board your flight to

DAYS 12: Depart by overnight flight to Nairobi. DAYS 35: Early this morning board your flight to Lewa Downs.

Arusha, where you are met and transferred to the Arusha Coffee Lodge. The lodge is situated on the Burka Coffee estate, a working coffee plantation spanning some 2,100 acres. DAY 3: Board your flight to Katavi. Arrive at Chada Camp Katavi in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. DAYS 45: Katavi is remote and hard to beat for a pure wilderness safari with bush walks and game drives in open vehicles. Hippopotamus mass along the creeks, and elephant shake fruit from the great borassus palms. Observe some of the largest herds of buffalo on earth, up to 3,000 in one herd, creating clouds of dust as they move, lion, hyena and leopard following. DAY 6: Depart by air to Mahale National Park and Greystoke Mahale Camp. At Mahale you see chimpanzee and the turquoise waters of Lake Tanganyika. DAYS 79: Observe chimpanzee playing, foraging and hunting in the forested slopes of the Mahale Mountains. Every day you can venture into the forest with the chance of seeing them as they groom, wrestle and forage across the leafy floor. You may also see leopard, bushbuck, bushpig and vast numbers of birds and butterflies. Spend the some relaxing time at your camp, and enjoy swimming or fishing in the clear waters of the lake. DAY 10: Your flight takes you to Kusini Camp in the southern Serengeti. Covering 10,000 square miles, the Serengeti is Tanzanias largest and most famous national park and supports one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in the world. The sight of so many animals, from the air or on the ground, is spectacular. DAYS 1112: View abundant resident wildlife and breathtaking panoramas in the Serengeti. The name Serengeti creates powerful images of one of the last remaining wildlife spectacles on earth. DAY 13: Fly to Arusha for lunch and time at leisure in a dayroom before departure.

The Laikipia region is a broad swathe of game-rich grasslands and hills. With the exception of the Masai Mara, Laikipia boasts the greatest wildlife experiences in Kenya. The game viewing in this region is exceptional and you enjoy safari by traditional vehicle and on foot. You may also explore the bush on horseback. One of the magic qualities of Borana is that the ranch is an accredited member of the Eco-tourism Society of Kenya, is certified organic and plays an extremely active role in regional conservation. Early one morning, embark on the nostalgic flight of a lifetime across this magical area in a biplane. DAYS 68: Using your own private helicopter, explore some of the most wild and stunning scenery and culture in Africa, including places rarely visited or seen. Your helicopter is the latest from Eurocopter with the most modern safety features and is the only one of its kind in Kenya. One morning, you are taken on an incredible and memorable day up into the Northern Frontier, one of the most savagely beautiful regions on the planet. Land in the desert at Kalacha, a small oasis and trading settlement. Enjoy a privileged cultural interaction with the rarely visited Gabbra tribes. Spend the night in a small tented camp run brilliantly and owned by the local community. DAYS 911: As the dawn rises, fly south through the desert to reach Nanyuki at the foot of Mount Kenya for your flight to the Masai Mara. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives. The wildlife is abundant and the swaying grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. DAY 12: After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for the flight back to Nairobi. Transfer to your hotel where dayrooms are reserved for your convenience. Continue on your journey.
