It is important to the health of American citizens that stem cell research is properly funded. It is important that scientists research stem cells because in the near future because the fixed stem cells could lead to the cure of the diseases such as: Diabetes, Alzheimers, and Parkinsons. Stem cells also may be able to mimic human muscle tissue and maybe even vital organs one day. Stem cell research must be funded by the government and citizens properly. It is important to people in the future that this type of research is funded now properly. Right now stem cell research does not have the correct funding that is needed in order to advance further studies of diseases and other health issues. Many people, especially bishops from the Catholic Church and social conservatives, believe that stem cell research is a bad thing. Most of these religious figures and conservatives argue that tampering with a human embryo murders that person. It would also help improve health care for many citizens who have parents with Alzheimers or children with Diabetes.
