BURGLARY

11-28192

On 6/18/2011 deputies patrolling Superior Twp responded to the 10000 block of Avondale Dr for the complaint of a burglary. Deputies were informed 3 bicycles were stolen from a garage. Police were contacted on 6/18/2011, at approximately 10:30AM. Deputies are still attempting to determine the time and date of the theft. No further information was available at the time of this posting. The case remains under investigation.

UDAA (STOLEN VEHICLE)

11-28196

Ypsilanti Twp deputies are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from a car dealership located in Ypsilanti Twp. On 6/18/2011 deputies were called to the 500 block of N. Hewitt Rd to speak with the management of the dealership. Deputies were told a car had been stolen off the business lot sometime between 6/17/2011 and 6/18/2011. The business owners believe the suspect is a person who test drove the vehicle earlier in the week. The business was able to provide suspect information to the investigators. At this time, the investigators are attempting to identify the suspect. The incident remains under investigation by area deputies. Stolen Property: 2001 Silver Chevy Impala 4D - No Plate

RECOVERED UDAA (STOLEN VEHICLE)

Superior Twp deputies recovered as stolen vehicle in the area of Geddes Rd and Gotfredson Rd. Police were contacted on 6/18/2011, at about 6:15PM, about a suspicious vehicle parked in a wooded area near a subdivision. Deputies determined the vehicle was stolen and notified the owner of the recovery. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The incident remains open for investigation. Recovered Stolen Property: 1995 Black Dodge pickup truck

HOME INVASION

11-28287

On 6/18/2011 deputies assigned to Ann Arbor Twp were called to the 4000 block of Welsh Rd for a residential burglary. The investigators believe the break-in occurred sometime earlier in the week. The victim did not report any stolen property. Investigators determined the suspect entered the home through a basement door. No suspect information was available. The incident remains under investigation.

HOME INVASION

11-27439

On 6/19/2011 deputies were called to the 1300 block of Fall River Dr, Ypsilanti Twp, for the complaint of a burglary. Deputies determined the suspect entered the home during the day of 6/19/2011 while the resident was away from home. The suspect entered the home through a ground floor window. Multiple items were reported stolen. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The case remains under investigation by area deputies. Stolen Property: 1 Dynes 32 flat screen TV 1 Dell laptop PC (chrome in color) Miscellaneous jewelry items

HOME INVASION

11-28484

Deputies patrolling Ypsilanti Twp were called to the 2100 block of Merrill Ave, on 6/19/2011, for the complaint of a burglary. The victim told deputies the home was unoccupied while it was being renovated. Investigators believe the break-in occurred sometime earlier in the week. The owner did not report any property stolen. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The case is still under investigation.

DRUNK DRIVING ARREST

11-28474

Washtenaw County Sheriffs deputies were conducting countywide traffic enforcement when they arrested a suspected drunk driver in the City of Saline. Deputies made contact with the driver on 6/19/2011, at about 5:45PM, in the area of Ann Arbor St and Michigan Ave. During contact with the driver deputies determined the person was intoxicatedstandardized sobriety tasks were utilized to determine the drivers condition. The driver was transported to the county jail without incident. A copy of the investigators report will be forwarded to the Prosecutors Office for review.

WEAPONS OFFENSE ARREST

11-28530

On 6/19/2011, at approximately 10:45PM, deputies from the Ypsilanti Twp Community Policing Team arrested a subject for illegally possessing a firearm. Deputies came into contact with the suspect while conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Tyler Rd and Fox Ave. Discovery of an illegally carried handgun occurred during a search for illegal drugs. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. A copy of the investigators report will be forwarded to the Prosecutors Office.

11-28315 Ypsilanti Twp deputies were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Tyler Rd and Calder Ave when they encountered a subject wanted for outstanding arrest warrants. The subject was identified and arrested on 6/18/2011, at about 9:00PM. The individual was transported to the county jail without incident.
