SYNOPSIS

The project entitled Agile Analysis Tool denotes the quality of being agile readiness for motion; nimbleness, activity, dexterity in motion- software development methods are attempting to offer an answer to the eager business community asking for lighter weight along with faster and nimbler software development processes. This is especially the case with the rapidly growing and volatile Internet software industry as well as for the emerging mobile application environment. The new agile methods have evoked a substantial amount of literature and debates. However, academic research on the subject is still scarce, as most of existing publications are written by practitioners or consultants. The aim of this publication is to begin filling this gap by systematically reviewing the existing literature on agile software development methodologies. This publication has three purposes. First, it proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches. Second, it analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being agile against the defined criteria. Third, it compares these methods and highlights their similarities and differences. Based on this analysis, future research needs are identified and discussed. This project is developed using ASP.Net as front end and SQL Server 2000 as backend. This project consists of various modules Project Initial Priority Setting Team Assignment Performance

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT This system includes the implementation of three tier technology specifically designed to analyze using the agile methodology. The modules of the project are explained below. 1. Project Initial The project initial is the module where the project manager operates. The project manager creates the project, domain, and object, adds features to the project, and lists the tasks to be accomplished to finish the project. 1.1. Create Project

The Create Project module creates the new project with the details such as Project ID, Name of the Project, Name of the Organization, Duration Of the Project are recorded and maintained. 1.2. Domain

The domain module is used to create a domain with the help of the details such as domain ID and the name of the domain. 1.3. Object

The objects are created after the domain is created. The objects that are related to the project are maintained. 1.4. Features

The features of the project are listed by the project manager to his subordinates. 1.5. Task

The tasks or the works are finalized to be carried out to accomplish the project.

2. Priority Setting The employees are diversified into two kinds such as designers and testers. The designers are those who design the project and the testers are those persons who checks whether the project is executed successfully without any errors. In the usual practice, the designers are given the higher priority as the designing job is carried out first. 2.1. Designers or Programmers The designers or the programmers are the persons who develop the project with the basic idea about the project. The designers start to design the project and so they are given the highest priority. 2.2. Testers The testers are the persons who perform their work after the project is completed. The main job of the testers are to execute the project and check whether the project possess any errors. The designers and the testers are given a username and a password. So they can login and check out their status. 3. Team The team module is designed specifically for the team leader. The job of the team leader is to allocate different modules of the project to the group of employees. He has to select the group of specialized employees for a particular task. 3.1. Member

The member module is used to list the members or the employees who are engaged in a particular project assigned to them.

3.2.

Team Allocation

The team allocation refers to the allocation of appropriate persons for performing their assigned tasks. 4. Assignment: In the assignment module, the tasks are assigned to the employees depending upon their specialization. 4.1. Task Assignment: The tasks with reference to the project ID, name of the project, name of the domain, the list of objects created are assigned to the specific group of employees. 5. Performance: The performance of the employees is ascertained by the project manager, team leader, and the employees. 5.1. Appraisal:

The employees are rewarded if they accomplish their assigned tasks 5.2. Altman ZScore:

The Altman ZScore depict the performance of the employees and it analyzes whether the proposed project will be profitable to the organization or not and intimates to the project manager whether to take up the project or to drop the project. 5.3. Tonies Effectiveness:

The term Tonies Effectiveness analyses the skills of the employees. The project manager can analyze the individual skills of the employees using the Tonies Effectiveness. This paves the way to select the employees for a project depending upon their skills.
