[Golden was acquired by Kogent Corporation in 2010] The Golden Consulting group is a small company that provides information systems consulting services and professional training. In 2002, I began by attending classroom training sessions, working on Golden internal systems, and handling some administrative tasks. In 2003 I became qualified to work as an applications developer supporting Golden customers. My Golden experience gave me the opportunity to become professionally competent with Crystal Reports and SQL. My Golden experience is outlined below. Applications Developer for Golden Customers Client: Commercial Loan Dept of small bank in Western Massachusetts Duration: 8 weeks - Worked on site Responsibilities: Convert MS Access reports to Crystal Reports Client: Auto Dealership in Eastern Connecticut Duration: 2 months - Worked out of home office Responsibilities: Wrote VB programs to port data from a proprietary file system into MS Access. Wrote CR reports using MS Access Client: United Way (Three agencies) Duration: Intermittently over one year - Worked out of home office Responsibilities: Converted SQL code located in multiple Crystal Reports into SQL Server stored procedures, and then recreated existing reports to utilize stored procedures.
