CAROLINA SLATE BELT & CHAMPION HILLS GOLD DISTRICT

The Carolina Slate Belt was actively mined from the early 1800's through the 1930s and has been left largely underexplored by modern techniques. The Slate Belt hosts most of the areas past producing gold mines, notably Ridgeway (1.5 Moz) and Barite Hill (1.88 Moz). Also in the Slate Belt is South Carolinas Haile Mine with an estimated 4.2Moz. Revolutions Champion Hills Gold Project includes 7 target areas within the historic Champion Hills Gold Trend; a current land package of approximately 7,500 acres. These priority areas occur within a 25 kilometer long trend, covering a series of historic gold and base metal mines and deposits. Mineralization found in Champion Hills has many critical geological similarities to those of the Ridgeway and Haile deposits, where gold, silver and other base metal mineralization are hosted within quartz-sercitepyrite altered volcanic rocks associated with northeast trending shear zones.
