BURGLARY 11-28975

Deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Twp responded to the 1700 block of East Michigan Ave for the report of a burglary to a commercial building. Police were called on 6/22/2011, at about 10:30AM. Investigators have determined the incident occurred during the night. The complainant discovered the burglary at the beginning of business hours. Entry was gained by forcing open a back door. No suspect information was available at the time of this posting. The case is still under investigation. Stolen Property: 1 36 LCD TV 1 DVD player Unknown quantity of cash

LARCENY

11-29006

Ypsilanti Twp deputies are investigating the theft of electronic equipment stolen from a classroom at the Willow Run Middle School. Deputies were called to the school on 6/22/2011, at about 1:45PM. The complainant told investigators that several pieces of electronic equipment had been stored in a classroom. Staff members discovered the property missing during the morning hours of 6/22/2011. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime during the past day. No arrests have been made at the time of this report. The incident remains under investigation. Stolen Property: 1 Nintendo Wii game console 6 assorted Wii system games 1 Nintendo Game Cube game console 1 Kodak digital camera

LARCENY

11-29076

Deputies assigned to Village of Dexter were dispatched to the 8000 block of Parkridge Dr for the complaint of a stolen basketball hoop and stand. Police were called on 6/22/2011. The victim told deputies their portable basketball hoop and stand had been store near the side of the garage. The victim discovered it missing on 6/22/2011. The time and date of the occurrence is unknown. No suspect information was available. The incident remains under investigation by area deputies. Stolen Property: 1 Spaulding portable basketball goal w/backboard

ARREST INFORMATION
11-28929 On 6/22/2011, at about 1:30AM, deputies in Ypsilanti Twp arrested a wanted subject while they were conducting proactive patrol. Sheriffs deputies made contact with subject in the area of Clark Rd and Lexington Parkway. The individual was identified and taken into custody without incident. 11-29045 Deputies assigned to the Community Policing Team in Ypsilanti Twp were conducting proactive patrol in the area of Michigan Ave and Campbell Ave, when they encountered a wanted subject. The subject was identified during an unrelated investigation. The arrestee was transported to the county jail without incident.
