Convenient pre-installed protocols

An integrated 3.5'' touch screen enables easy operation. On-screen messages also display detailed process information such as, protocol details and user information.

Automatic UV-lamp sterilization

A built-in UV lamp activates automatically when an extraction run has completed. This automatic sterilization prevents and eliminates the risk of cross-contamination.

Easy-to-use touch screen

Optimized protocols for routine nucleic acid extraction are preloaded in the ExiPrepTM 16. Simply select a protocol from the touch screen depending on sample type. New protocols are constantly updated on an ongoing basis and can be downloaded free of charge at www.bioneer.com.

Built-in heating block

A built-in heating block in ExiPrepTM 16 facilitates sample lysis. The heating block can achieve and maintain sample temperatures of 60 C ~ 90 C.

Proprietary silica magnetic beads

Highly pure DNA or RNA can be abtained using Bioneer's proprietary silica magnetic bead technology. The magnetic beads feature extremely high binding capacity for DNA and RNA due to a increased surface area on the round-shape bead (patent pending).

The ExiPrep TM 16 revolutionary buffer cartridge system is based on universal 96 deep-well plate specifications. Optimized nucleic acid reagents and enzymes are aliquoted into the buffer cartridges depending on sample and nucleic acid type. The buffer cartridge design provides user convenience and reproducibility. Each well is aliquoted individually to prevent cross contamination and product variances.
