- To establish baseline data - For the family to be aware of the foods that are nutritious and conducive for good nutrition - For the family to have an actual idea of what a balanced diet is and what it is composed of - For the family to gain knowledge on food substitutes and at the same time, save money on buying foods - For the family to gain knowledge and also conserve the nutrient contents of the food that could be degraded on improper food preparation -To aid in losing weight and to improve body conditions - For proper supervision and management

Short term: - The family shall have verbalized the importance of a balanced diet and good nutrition and demonstrate behaviors of compliance on health teachings. Long term: - The family shall have planned and prepared nutritious and well-balanced meal and continued to comply with the health teachings regarding nutrition.
- Sit with the family and plan sets of food for a whole week that is compose of a balance diet - Cite some cheap nutritious foods that can serve as substitutes for expensive ones
- Teach the family on proper food preparation (ex. do not overcook vegetables)

>Encourage the father to make improvise drainage >Instruct the mother to use soap in cleaning the floor of their house >Advise the family to dispose their waste properly by putting it in one container

Short term: After a week of home visits the family will become awake of measures to achieve a more comfortable living space. Long term: By the 2nd week of home visits the family will do the proposed measures and will achieve conditional living space
>provide opportunity for the family to realize and formulate plans toward problem solving > for the family to realize the effects of inadequate living space >provide additional space >frees space for adequate movement >allows more space for the family member to utilize
LONG TERM > The family shall have done the proposed measures and shall achieve additional living space
