Welcome to the Strachan Sports Travel Six Nations 2012 programme

for England supporters in the South West. In this brochure you will find a wide choice of inclusive packages flying from Exeter. The prices shown in the brochure are not the Final Prices but a guide. There is likely to be an increase in these prices for 2012, but we will endeavour to keep these as low as we can. We will produce our Final Prices for 2012 in late Autumn 2012 when the airlines and hotels confirm their prices. What we would like you to do therefore is to send us your Registration Form together with a deposit of 100 per person, so that your flight seats and accommodation can be held for you. When we produce our final prices, you will be asked to confirm your booking by completing a Booking Form when the registration fee will become a non-refundable deposit. If however you do not wish to proceed, your 100 will be refunded, less a 10 administration fee. We look forward to you joining us for what I am sure will be some excellent rugby weekends!

HOTELS
We have selected a wide choice of hotels for you to choose. Each hotel offers good value for money for its category and location and several are well known favourites that we have used many times before. However we can also book a hotel of your choice, subject to availability. Our prices are based on sharing a twin-bedded room, but we can obtain single rooms and share-triples at most hotels; prices for these are on request.

HOW TO BOOK
Telephone us on 01392 780274 to check availability and then send us your Registration Form together with a registration fee of 100 per person. We will then acknowledge your registration and hold flight seats and hotel accommodation as required. When our Final Prices brochure is produced, we will then ask you to confirm your booking by completing a Booking Form when the fee of 100 will then become a non-refundable deposit. You will also be asked to pay for any match tickets you have requested. If however you decide not to proceed, we will refund your 100 fee less a 10 administration charge .

COACH TRANSFERS
Coach transfers are included in the price from the arrival airport to your hotel and return.

MATCH TICKETS
We are able to provide a limited number of match tickets for all the Six Nations games in Edinburgh, Paris and Rome. However please note that tickets are not guaranteed and are obtained from agents & third parties, which means that they are not at face value but include agency or rugby club charges over which we have no control.

FINANCIAL PROTECTION
When you book with Strachan Sports Travel you can do so with the assurance that your money is protected. We are part of the Sam Smith Travel Group, who are members of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA), agents of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and bonded with the Civil Aviation Authority from whom we hold an Air Travel Organisers Licence (ATOL). FLIGHTS
Our programme is based on flights from Exeter to Edinburgh, Paris and Rome. Flight departure times will depend on the final operational programme, but will be as close as possible to the flight bands shown in the brochure.

Kings Manor Hotel
Just outside the city centre, this hotel still retains many of its original 19th century features but thoroughly modernised with facilities including 2 bars, a restaurant, bistro plus the Fountain Spa leisure club with heated indoor pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room and gym. All rooms are ensuite with television, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel is also very convenient for the golf courses of East Lothian.

FRANCE
Ibis Montmartre
This hotel is situated in the heart of Paris, between the Place de Clichy and the Cimetiere de Montmartre. The Ibis Montmartre is a comfortable hotel with air-conditioned rooms, all with private bath, telephone and television. The hotel also has its own bar and restaurant. Breakfast is a grand affair with a giant all-you-can-eat buffet, normally served between 06.30 10.00am. For the early or late risers there is always a croissant and a cup of tea or coffee.

Hotel Gioberti
The hotel Gioberti is located in the historical centre of Rome, between the basilica Santa Maria Maggiore and Termini railway station. All guest rooms feature private bathrooms, airconditioning, direct line telephones, satellite colour TV, pay TV, a mini-bar, and a digital safe. The hotel features a bar, breakfast room and a lift.

Mercure Point
The Mercure Point is a central Edinburgh Hotel located in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle and just minutes away from the old town and shopping areas. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and the standard rooms are en-suite with luxury Egyptian cotton bedding, complimentary Brodies of Edinburgh tea & coffee, hairdryer, television and direct dial telephone.

Hotel Massimo D'Azeglio

Dating back to 1875, Bettoja Hotel Massimo d'Azeglio is an elegant building 100 metres from Roma Termini Train Station. The Coliseum is a 15-minute walk down the road on Via Cavour. All rooms come with parquet floors, classic wooden furniture, and marble bathroom with bath or shower. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The lobby, bar and restaurant display an important collection of paintings and antique prints. The antique cellar is located underground and offers an impressive list of wines. The restaurant of the Massimo d'Azeglio serves local and international dishes. The varied buffet breakfast includes excellent cappuccino.

Mercure Montmartre
The Mercure is situated in the centre of Montmartre, within walking distance of the Moulin Rouge. The hotel offers wellfurnished, airconditioned rooms, all with private bathroom, telephone, satellite/cable television, radio, minibar and hairdryer. The hotel also has a bar, Le Montmartre, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

The Ramada Mount Royal

The Mount Royal has spectacular views over Princes Street Gardens and across the gorge to Edinburgh Castle itself. The Princes Dining Room overlooks the famous Princes Street. Whether you fancy shopping, taking in local heritage, or playing sport there's plenty to do in the local area. The hotel is fully non smoking.

Terrass
This is an exceptional familyowned 4-star hotel of considerable character, located in Montmartre with stunning views over Paris. Every air-conditioned room is different with beautifully decorated bedrooms, each with its own fabric design together with either contemporary or period furniture of quality, together with well-appointed bathrooms, hairdryer, minibar, satellite television and direct dial telephone. The hotels restaurant La Terrasse offers a very high standard of cuisine and is well patronised.

The Herald House Hotel

The Herald is a 2 star hotel situated in Fountainbridge, Located close in the heart of Edinburgh, this friendly, independent two star hotel has 45 bedrooms all with small en-suite shower rooms. on the ground floor we have a breakfast room, cosy lounge and modern seating area where tea & coffee can be served and where guests have access to the Internet. With just 15 minutes walk from Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street, Kings Theatre and Haymarket station, the Herald House offers good value and quality service. There are 45 bedrooms, all with small showers and WC en suite. Rooms are equipped with direct dial telephones, television, hospitality tray, trouser press and hairdryer. The hotel is completely non smoking both in the public areas and the bedrooms. An elevator serves the three upper floors.

Mediterraneo Hotel
One of Romes most vivid manifestations of Italian Art Dec, featuring an interior of grey marble, allegorical murals of inlaid wood and Art Dec friezes ringing the ceilings of the enormous public rooms. The lobby has antique busts of Roman Emperors. The bar is gracefully curved and illuminated with cut crystal. Facilities include a breakfast room and roof garden. Walking distance from the Opera House and 10 minutes from Via Veneto. A Bettoja hotel. Security safes only available in double rooms but we have also a safety room.
