A Noobs Guide to Quick scoping in Modern Warfare 2.

Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles and the Microsoft Windows operating system. First off, theres some terminology you may need to understand before I unearth the secrets to performing this gaming skill Intervention: The only sniper rifle you should ever think of using in this game. The others are pathetic, to say the least. Perks: Along with your gun, you can select options called perks which can aid you in your game play, making some tasks easier. Sleight of Hand Pro: An example of a perk, it helps quicken the reload time and gives you faster Aim Down the Sights. Stopping Power Pro: A perk, it gives you increased bullet damage in general. Ninja Pro: A perk that makes you invisible to heart monitors and allows you to move silently. No Scope: When you fire a shot with the sight not aimed down. Hard Scope: When you fire a shot with the sight being aimed down, breath held, and the target being followed. Quick Scope: When you fire the shot with the sight aimed down so quickly, that the target cant be seen through the scope. This is also called a Black Scope FMJ: An attachment added to a gun, in this case, an Intervention, meaning Full Metal Jacket. It allows bullets to penetrate surfaces more easily. Hit markers: Possibly the worst 4 lines on a screen you can see, it means that the Intervention, usually a one shot kill, didnt kill. Two shots are necessary. Wall Bangs: Possibly the best 4 lines on a screen you can see, it means that the intervention has nailed a shot through a type of surface. Blind fire resulting in points for you. Cross Hairs: Lines on the screen in front of your gun that show you where it is possible for your bullet to land. When you are not aimed in, the cross hairs are far apart. When you are running, they are even farther apart. When you have you sight aimed down they are close It shows you within what area you can have an accurate shot.

All bolded items should be used; the others are listed for reference. There are other items you may change in your class such as equipment, but that tends to be irrelevant for quick scoping. 2. Line up your crosshairs while having your sight aimed down so that the exact center of the crosshairs is your target. If the target is moving, think ahead for where theyll be when you pull the trigger.

3. Quickly, press the aim down button, the shoot button, and then the aim down button again within one second in totality. This is what gives the quick scope its name. Congratulations. Thats it! It may seem easy, but once you have a controller in your hands and youre trying to quick scope a moving target, it becomes a challenge. All you can do to bring up your accuracy and KDR is practice. Private matches may even be able to help; miniscule health on Rust would be ideal. Nevertheless, good luck! Happy Gaming
