1. We at Amity believe in honing the mathematical skills of our children through various activities. Our children find mathematics a vibrant subject and understand that it has application in all facets of life. Taking this into consideration the class III topic for Mathamity 2011-12 is MATH IN THE KITCHEN. Each group has to work on the subtopic allotted to them. 1. All group members have to contribute constructively as marks will be given on the individual input of each member. 2. Mathamity will be conducted on 3 days( 28.7.11, 29.7.11, 30.7.11). 3. The presentation should include a suitable model with short explanation with a hand written file on A4 sheets. Details of the contents of the file are given below. 4. It can also include oral presentation( a song, poem, dance, drama )related to the project. 5. 3D model is not mandatory. 6. The project should be a child's work. 7. Professionally made models will be disqualified. 8. Use environment friendly products. Use of thermocol, plastic etc. should be avoided.
