I was born in Malaysia. I grew up by eating Malaysia s food. I live in Malaysia. I wear Malaysia s product clothes.

I go to school by Malaysia s product car which is Proton Wira everyday and the electric that flow through my house is also produced from Malaysia. I love Malaysia. I love being one of the Malaysian. Malaysia is one of the colorful country in South Asia. Why there is still some people that not satisfy about Malaysia? It is good enough compare with other countries. There are ten things that I found in Malaysia for sixteen years. Firstly, it is about Malaysia s culture. There are more than one races in this country. How amazing! There are Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, and so on. There are also different celebration too. For example, Aidilfitri Celebration, Happy Chinese New Year, Deepavali Celebration, Cristsmas Celebration and many more. It is really fun when having Open House concept. This is because we can find multiracial in the open house party. I also have different races of friends. Secondly, food. For those from other country that immigrate to our country, they will found out that Malaysia is a country that many type of foods. In Malaysia, there are Malay s traditional foods like ketupat, ayam redang, and otak-otak. For Chinese traditional foods, dim sum will be the most famous one and do not forget Chinese chicken rice. While, for Indian, roti canai is one of the snacks that can find in Indian stalls or mamak stalls and also putu mayam. These type of foods is affordable, seriously good, and constantly available food. Malaysia is free from natural disasters. This is one of the ten things I like Malaysia and it is true. According to science reason, Malaysia is free from natural disaster because of Malaysia is located under the Khatulistiwa Line. There is actually one volcano in Malaysia at Sabah namely Bombalai. Besides, Malaysia never go through tornado or tsunami. Malaysia is the more safe place to live compare to others countries like Philippines and Indonesia. Malaysia s history is one of the ten things I love Malaysia. As we learn history since standard four until form 4, all information about history is so interesting and it showed us that our great warriors like Tok Janggut, Dato Bahaman, Mat Kilau willing to sacrifice their live to free out country, Tanah Melayu from colonialist. There is also the famous historical place located at Melaka called Kota A Farmosa. This place consists of many history things for example the stockade for war that built by colonialists from Portugal. Next is Malaysia has high hills station. The five cools high stations, there are Cameron Highland, Maxwell Hill, Penang Hill, Genting Highland and Bukit Tinggi. Cameron Highland is located Pahang, this hill station is the nation s highest at 1,500 meters above sea level. Cameron Highlands possess 8 towns, and is called home by a butterfly farm, strawberry farms and so on. The Boh Tea Centre and Cactus Point is also located here. Genting Highlands is home to the popular Genting Highlands Resort, also known as the City of Entertainment and the Las Vegas of Malaysia , for possessing the only legal land based casino in the country. The resort has 6 hotels, 5 performance venues and a golf course. While, Bukit Tinggi is one of the larger cities in West Sumatra, whose name in Indonesian means high hill . Bukit Tinggi is 90 kilometres from Padang, with a height of 930 metres above sea water. Visitors can see Sianok Canyon and the Japanese Caves.

Next, Malaysia s architecture is also good and awesome. Most of the cities in the country boast of buildings that are upscale, opulent and lavish and have become landmark in the country. Petronas Twin Towers is one such building. It is situated in Kuala Lumpur and has bcome synonymous with the existence of the city. The 88 storey building was previously the world s tallest building buy now is was been overtaken by other buildings. In Malaysia also has different races of architecture. For Malay, Traditional Malay architecture employs sophisticated architectural processes ideally suited to tropical conditions such as structures built in stilts. Traditional houses in Negeri Sembilan were built of hardwood and entirely free of nails. They are built using beams, which are held together by wedges. A beautiful example of this type of architecture can be seen in the Old Palace of Seri Menanti in Negeri Sembilan, which was built around 1905. For Chinese architecture, there are two broad types, which is traditional and Baba Nyonya. For example of traditional architecture include Chinese temples found throughout the country such as the Cheng Hoon Teng that dates back to 1646. Many old houses especially those in Melaka and Penang are of Baba Nyonya heritage, built with indoor courtyards and beautiful, colourful tiles. For Indian, the Sri Mahamariaman Temple in Kuala Lumpur is one the most ornate and elaborate Hindu temples in the country is built in the late nineteenth century. The seventh things I love Malaysia is peace. This country is peace since August 1957, which is Malaysia s Independent Day. Living in Malaysia is the very safe and is a good decision. There is no more war since August 1957. There is a fight between Malaysia with Indonesia due to some reason and now is become peace. We, as human should tolerance and respect each other to avoid conflict and war happen. This will help to make peace for the world. Malaysia is a country that rich with natural resources. This is one of the ten things I love Malaysia. Malaysia is well gifted with natural resources in areas like agriculture, minerals and forestry. Malaysia is one of the lead exporters of palm oil and natural rubber. Palm oil is generates foreign exchange. As for forestry resources, logging began making substantial contribution only in the 19th century. Today, more than 50 per cent of Malaysia remains forested. Considerable areas are being treated through silvicultureand reforestation works are being carried out. Tin and petroleum are the two major mineral resources that are the key implication in the economy of Malaysia. Malaysia also good in geography. Malaysia is the 43rd most populated country and the 66th largest country by total land area in the world, with a population of about 28 million and a land area over 320,000 km square respectively. On land, Malaysia borders Thailand, Indonesia and Brunei and it has maritime boundaries with its neighbours Singapore, Vietnam and the Philippines. The two distinct parts of Malaysia, separated from each other by the South China Sea, share a largely similar landscape in that both West and East Malaysia feature coastal plains rising too often densely forested hills and mountains, the highest os Mount Kinabalu at 4,095.2 metres on he island of Borneo. Kuala Lumpur is the official capital and largest city of Malaysia. Putrajaya is the federal administrative capital. Although many executive and judicial branches of the federal government have moved there.

Days are very warm and often humid, sometime nights are fairly cool. The main rainy season in the east runs between November and February, while August is the wettest period on the west coast. East Malaysia has heavy rain between November to February in Sabah and in Sarawak. It is also difficult to generalise about the country s climate, as rainfall differs on the east and west coasts according to the prevailing monsoon winds. Average daytime temperatures in Kuala Lumpur are around 27 degree Celsius year round. I love Malaysia because Malaysia, as a developing country, has been successful in bringing about this balance by continuing to invest in the agricultural sector. In addition, developing in manufacturing, tourism and services sectors. For a developing country, land is always identified as an asset that can be developed both to generate revenue and to achieve food security. The contribution of palm oil and rubber to the Malaysian economy range from 5 per cent to 8 per cent of the country s GDP. These two commodities not only helped Malaysia to fight the malaise or poverty but also provide the much needed food and income for the rural communities. These are ten things I love Malaysia. I was born as Malaysian. Malaysia is the best country that I ever live and I will continue support and live in Malaysia. Hopes all people can wake from their dream and open their eyes wide to see that Malaysia is good enough to live in.
