Offering placed on the altar rail during Holy Communion is used to help those in need in our church and the community. Theme for July 10 - Canned Food Sunday - to help fill 2x4 boxes. The following items are needed to complete more boxes: mashed potatoes, rice, dry soup mix, canned soup & canned meat. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry. MODELs will meet at 12:30 pm on July 21 at The Mojo Grill, 5710 SE Abshier Blvd, Belleview. If you plan to attend, please email your reservation to dhumcvol@yahoo.com or call the office by July 19. You can view a copy of their menu in the Church Office. Directions are also available in the office. Dont forget to bring a dollar to be donated to a local charity at the end of the year. Great Lakes Scrip Center News! Gap 5% Bonus - Gap, Inc. will be offering a 5% bonus contribution from Sat., Feb. 26 through Fri., July 29, 2011. The cards will have a 14% nonprofit contribution, instead of the normal 9%, during that period. L.L. Bean 2% Bonus L.L. Bean will be offering a 2% bonus from Sat., June 11 through Friday, July 15, 2011. The cards will have a 17% contribution, instead of the normal 15%, during that period. Chilis Increases Contribution - Effective Saturday, July 2, the non-profit contribution for Chilis Grill & Bar and all their related brands will increase from 9% to 11%. Due to the holiday & my vacation, no GLSC orders will be placed tomorrow.
