Filtration process in the downstream purification units was monitored by testing samples with correspondence to time and operating conditions Detecting any fluctuation in the filtration process and identify causes Suggestions to improve existing unit and potential alternate filtration strategies Project Achievements:

Relationship between different operation parameters and units and corresponding filtration efficiency is derived Loss of sugars in the process of filtration was calculated Reasons for filtration fluctuation and optimum operating conditions were demonstrated Suggestions for further effective filtration and current advances in filtration units were presented Developed excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, team work, negotiation to organize, problem solving, ability to work under pressure and to work with confidence Project Title: Prototype design of Ammonia plant Company: Supervised by Johnson Mathew Jan 2010-May 2010 (4 months) Key Activities:

For the accreditation of IChemE, 7 students formed a team under the supervision of a senior lecturer and staff of Johnson Mathew intended to develop a prototype of ammonia production unit

Project involved progressive development with initial plant layout, individuals working on particular reactors and detail final report and presentation to the management of Johnsons Mathews Project Achievements:

Was awarded chartered chemical engineer by IChemE for successfully completing the module Good knowledge of designing a plant with relation to the feed, product, location, safety and potential hazards

I have successfully undertaken various team projects within both academic and non-academic environments. My recent project undertaken at Cargill PLC gave the confidence to communicate, to being confident and ability to work with people at all levels.
