SUSPENSION BRIDGE OVER RIVER EBRO

The suspension bridge over river Ebro is the entering door of the city of Amposta (Tarragona). The suspension bridge, whose project was commissioned to engineer J. Eugene Ribera, begun in 1915 and opened in 1921 by General Primo de Rivera. In March 1938, in the middle of civil war, it was bombed and destroyed, so that the Ebro was saved by a passing boat which later, sank under the weight of the tanks Republicans in his retirement in April 1938. After the war, the bridge was reconstructed and reopened in 1941 Two 24 mt height stoned towers with the shape of triumph arch are the main features of these bridge in which the steel structure is suspended to iron cables.
The suspension bridge has been for several years the only one crossing point over the last section of Ebro river and has became one of the symbol of the town of Amposta.

ITTL Trade Tourist & Leisure Park Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of Woolworth (Cyprus) Properties Public Ltd, is the owner of a property with an area of 102.000sq.m. in a prime location in Athalassa - Nicosia. In this property, the Shacolas Emporium Park is currently under development, a modern shopping mall with international specifications where the customer will combine shopping with leisure. In the Shacolas Emporium Park Shopping Mall there will be a wide variety of well known retail brands in different shops. There will be a Debenhams Department Store, a Hypermarket of a well known multinational company in the sector, various fashion brands of various well known and successful international chains, a large shop with sports apparel and equipment, shops offering various other services, a multiplex cinema, restaurants and coffee shops. The total area available for use is 27.000sq.m. In the same area there will also operate a large furniture store IKEA of the well known Swedish chain. The building will be built by the IKEA franchisee at his own cost. Further, in order to meet the great demand for retail space in the Shacolas Emporium Park, two more building are being developed of a total leasable area of about 12.000sq.m. Lysaker Stasjon
Lysaker Station is Norway's third-largest railway station, located at Lysaker on Drammenbanen. The station serves regional, local and Airport Express trains. It opened in 1872, and is located 7.00 km west of Oslo and at 7.5 meters elevation. As of 2006, the owner and operator, Jernbaneverket is in the process of renovating the station. The station is located between Skyen (to the east) and Stabk, but when the new Askerbanen is finished expanded to Lysaker in 2011, the station will be connected to Sandvika. There are more than one thousand daily bus departures from Lysaker Station and within 800 meters there are 20,000 jobs with an additional 10-15,000 in development. All local and regional trains that operate west of Skyen stop at the station, in addition to three-hourly Airport Express Trains to Oslo Airport, Gardermoen. In 2006 the process of renovating the station began, with estimated investments of NOK 1 billion. Lysaker Station is planned to be one of the most important stations west of Oslo, and is to continue as a local connection point for public transport. The construction work consists of renovating the station building, expanding the present track from two to four tracks and building a terminus under the existing tracks for the proposed automated light rail Forbunebubanen to Fornebu. The construction work is planned to be completed in 2009 and two years later Askerbanen will be finished between Lysaker and Sandvika

VARANDEY OFFSHORE TERMINAL

Seaway Heavy Lifting has transported and installed the Varandey FOIROT (Fixed Offshore Ice Resistant Oil Terminal) for Lukoil Kaliningradmomeft using the 2500 ton Heavy Lift Vessel Stanislav Yudin. The installation has been done in the Barents Sea, Russia. The steel Base Structure, with a weight of approximately 11.000 ton has been transported on a submersible cargo barge. Five grillage beams have been placed on the cargo deck, onto which the Base Structure has been settled down. In order to sufficiently spread the transportation loads, Agom has manufactured special elastomeric blocks that have been placed between the grillage beams and the Base Structure. In addition, special elastomeric double stoppers have been positioned on the four corners to restrain the Base Structure during transportation.

Each support bearing consists of one or two laminated rubber blocks vulcanised onto a steel base plate provided with suitable fixing holes. Each rubber block is built up using special natural rubber layers reinforced with steel layers.
