Gulf Industrial Investment Company (GIIC): Established in 1984, GIIC Wholly Owned by Foulath, is a leading producer of iron-ore pellets used in the producer of iron-ore pellets used in the production of steel. It operates two pelletizing plants in Kingdom of Bahrain with a total capacity of 11.00 million tons per year. It is one of the three major merchant pelletizing producers in the world and the only one located in the Middle East.

Operator MH Ship Unloader 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Perform the operation of ship unloader. Conduct pre-start check and operational check of the equipment. Secondary School Certificate / Higher Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of marine or vessel loading procedure. Reasonable standard of English. Able to communicate well. A minimum of five years experience in operating similar equipment.

Operator MH Ship Loader 1. Operate ship loader as his main work in the work of pellets loading. 2. Take charge of inspections, lubrication, adjustments and minor repairs under the direction of the shift supervisor. 3. Responsible for safe operation of ship loader and loading to the ship. 4. Conduct pre-start check of the equipment. This includes structural inspection and testing of limit switches. 5. Secondary School Certificate / Higher Diploma or equivalent. 6. Knowledge of marine or vessel loading procedure. 7. Reasonable standard of English. 8. A minimum of two years operation experience in similar equipment. 9. Able to communicate well. Operator MH Stacker 1. Perform as major work the operation of stackers in the receiving works (stacking or iron ores and product pellets. 2. Shall take charge of maintenance duties including inspections, lubrications, adjustments and repairs under the direction of the shift supervisor. 3. Secondary School Certificate / Diploma or equivalent. 4. Reasonable standard of English.

5. A minimum of five years experience in operating similar equipment. 6. Able to communicate well. CCR Operator / MP 1. Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of all equipment in drying, grinding, blending and prewetting areas controlled through central control room. 2. Record operation data and produce daily report and start/stop equipment as instructed by shift supervisor. 3. Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering or equivalent. 4. Able to communicate well. 5. 5 years operating experience in a similar industry. CCR Operator / Induration 1. Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of all equipment in Balling, travel grate, rotary kiln and final product areas controlled through central control room, record operation data and produce daily report. 2. Start/stop equipment (Inter lock Sequence System) as instructed by shift supervisor. 3. Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering or equivalent. 4. Able to communicate well. 5. 5 years operating experience in a similar industry.

Operator / Mobile Equipment 1. Operate and maintain all types of mobile equipment like cranes, trailers, wheel loaders, dozers, scrapers, dump track, forklifts, etc. 2. Attend to general clean-up of plant premises, housing complex and other locations owned by the Company. 3. Remove/shift materials, machinery, equipment, furniture, etc., as required from time to time. 4. Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent. 5. A minimum of two years experience in similar capacity in heavy industry / metal processing industry. 6. Mechanical aptitude, mental and physical strength, willingness to work hard and for long hours, safety consciousness etc. 7. Able to communicate well. Operator MH Reclaimer 1. Perform as major work the operation of reclaimers in supplying of iron ores into material bins and loading product pellets. 2. Shall take charge of maintenance duties including inspections, lubrication, adjustments and repairs under the direction of the shift supervisor. 3. Secondary School Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent. 4. Reasonable standard of English. 5. A minimum of five years experience in operating similar equipment. 6. Able to communicate well.

Sr. Induration Operator 1. Perform all operations of Induration Section. 2. Effect start-stop of equipment. Carry out all the operations and tests required for achieving stable quality in accordance with Production departments targets, with shift supervisors instructions. 3. Should know the function and operation of all equipments of Induration. Readiness to be transferred/ trained in all areas of the plant. Should have the necessary technical capabilities to be trained for CCR. 4. Diploma in Chemical or Metallurgy Engineering or equivalent. 5. Able to speak, read and write technical English in order to communicate and record events and data. 6. Able to communicate well. 7. Eight years operating experience in a similar industry. Power Plant Technician 1. Provide technical backup to the Production Department in the event of power and utilities equipment malfunction. 2. Provide on the job training for Assistants and deputies for the Power Plant Engineer to be able to work in shifts or day shift as per schedule. 3. Good knowledge of Spoken and Written English. 4. 5 years experience in the maintenance of instruments in process Industry. 5. Must be creative thinker, especially when trouble shooting. 6. Must have good knowledge of Instrumentation facilities in the plant. 7. Has good initiatives, hard worker, be able to climb ladders and enter into confined spaces if required. 8. Be able to write clear reports. 9. Able to communicate well. Process Technician 1. Degree or Diploma in Metallurgical, mineral processing or Chemical Engineering. 2. A minimum of 5 years experience in process engineering in Iron Ore pelletizing, cement, steel plants or related heavy industrial plants. Sr. E/I Technician 1. Maintain the electrical and instrument equipments and to provide technical backup to the Production Department in the event of equipment failures. 2. Provide on the job training for Assistant and deputies. 3. Able to work in shift or day shifts as per schedule. 4. Diploma in Electrical / Electronic /Instrumentation Engineering. 5. 7 years experience in similar capacity in an iron & steel / cement / heavy process industry. 6. Should be conversant with PLCs, HMIs, DCS/SCADA, Field bus/Profibus communication systems , VFDs and Thyristor DC drives . 7. Should be also conversant with programming of the temperature/level/pressure and flow controllers. 8. Must be able to follow the P&I drawings.

9. Should be well versed in supervisory practices. 10. Able to communicate well. Mechanical Supervisor (MH) 1. Responsible to Superintendent Mech. Maintenance Cold Section (MM-CS) on daily basis for control of Maintenance workforce and provides necessary service to maintain maximum plant availability. 2. Responsible to Superintendent Mech. Maintenance Cold Section (MM-CS) to ensure all mechanical work carried out is to a high satisfactory standard with minimum downtime. Ensure routine preventative Maintenance schedules are carried out. 3. Ensure all Plant Modifications are carried out to an acceptable standard. 4. Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 5. Must have a good knowledge of spoken and written English. 6. Minimum 7 years experience in Mechanical Maintenance in a heavy industries such as iron ore palletizing plant at Supervisory level. Mechanical Inspector 1. Carry out scheduling, condition monitoring of plant equipments based on this making predictive maintenance plan ensuring minimum down time of mechanical equipments. 2. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 3. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in heavy industry preferably palletizing plant or steel making industry. 4. Able to carry out inspection /keeping records of equipments and predict the abnormalities. 5. Able to make the inspection check list/ planning scheduling/based on the equipment manufacture recommendation. 6. Must be conversant with modern test equipments for inspection. 7. Able to communicate well. Sr. Spares Engineer 1. Control of the spare parts requirement (stock & non-stock items) inspection of spares, change the specification of spare as and when required to ensure that all the plant equipment are maintained to a consistent high standard with minimum plant downtime. 2. Planning of Budget for capital expenditure, capital spares and modification. 3. Bachelor in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 4. He should be well versed in safety regulations, relevant engineering standards and Company policies and procedures. 5. He must have an excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and be capable of writing technical reports. 6. Minimum 8 years experience in heavy engineering industry, with a minimum of 2 years experience in planning. 7. Should be well-versed in supervisory practices as well as safety regulations, relevant engineering standards. 8. Able to communicate well. E & I Technician

1. Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Equivalent 2. Minimum 7 years experience in pelletizing / cement plants or related heavy industrial plants. 3. Should be conversant with PLCs, HMIs, DCS/SCADA, Field bus/Profibus communication systems , VFDs and Thyristor DC drives . 4. Should be also conversant with programming of the temperature/level/pressure and flow controllers. 5. Able to communicate well. Welder / Fabricator 1. Performs all welding, cutting and fabrication on the plant and supporting utilities. 2. Carries out all relevant mechanical maintenance on all items of equipment in the plant in a manner which enable the plant to run at set levels with maximum plant availability. 3. Diploma in Welding and Fabrication Engineering. 4. Have a reasonable command of written and spoken English. 5. 4 Years experience preferably in heavy Engineering industry. 6. Able to communicate well.

Ltd (49% Shareholding), a leading global beams and structural steel sections producer, SULB is currently constructing its facilities in the kingdom of Bahrain with production capacity of 1.0 million tons per year.

Roll Pass Design Engineer 1. Professional qualification or degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years experience as Roll Pass and Rolling. Guides Designs for beams and section (reversing mills). 2. Must be familiar with the use of AUTO CAD software. 3. Good communication skills in English language, spoken and written. Assistant Manager Electrical Maintenance Meltshop 1. Professional qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years experience in electrical maintenance of electric arc furnaces, ladle furnaces, continuous casting machines, overhead cranes, baghouses, material handling systems, transformers and related equipment in a modern Electrical Arc Furnace based Meltshop. 2. Good communication skills in English language, spoken and written 3. Computer literate mainly Ms Word 2007.

Assistant Manager Mechanical Maintenance Meltshop 1. Professional qualification or degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years experience in mechanical maintenance of electric arc furnaces, ladle furnaces, continuous casting machines, overhead cranes, baghouses, material handling systems, and related equipment in a modern Electrical Arc Furnace based Meltshop. 2. Good communication skills in English language, spoken and written 3. Computer literate mainly Ms Word 2007 Assistant Manager Electrical Maintenance Direct Reduction Plant 1. Professional qualifications or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 15 years Experience in Electrical & Instrumentation of Direct Reduction Plants ( preferably MIDREX process ) 2. Field of Experience : 3. Electrical & Automation ( Commissioning , Operation & Maintenance ) 4. Distributed Control Systems ( DCS )- SIMATIC PCS7&HONEYWELL EXPERION PKS DCS 5. Civil Structural Engineer 1. A minimum of 10-15 years experience in assisting in project management of civil / structural and building projects in Steel Manufacturing Industries. 2. Good communication skills in English language, spoken and written. 3. Computer literate mainly Ms Word 2007. 4. Knowledge of PRIMAVERA & Auto Cad is must. 5. Other Qualifications : o To plan, schedule and supervise all engineered projects involving construction of civil earth works, pilling, buildings, structural (steel and concrete), land surveying activities, under-ground utilities services, interfaces & interlink of the plants etc. o Provide Civil / Structural Engineering support to Company projects and engineering assistance. Co-ordinate inter/intra Department and other discipline Supervisors / Contractors.

o Have the Ability to write clear and concise reports, proposals, feasibility study reports and memoranda. Good interpersonal skills. o Experience in preparing and issuing Instructions to Bidders (ITB) for all work activities related to Civil Engineering. o Experience in Evaluating the Tenders of Civil Engineering works.
