The wonderful success of The 1st Euro-Med Conference on "Plant Natural Products" (BioNat-I) held in Egypt 2009, strongly inspires us to organize the second one BioNat-II.
BioNat-II conference aims to bring the scientists, decision makers, industry men, technologists,
young graduates, and students across the globe to promote exchange and discussion of issues relating to plant natural products (metabolic networks, vitamins, carotenoids, flavonoids, antinutrients, toxins, products of plant-associated microorganisms and bioactive proteins). Attention is also devoted to the herbal medicine, plant-derived drugs, phytopharmaceuticals, synthetic drugs, ethno-pharmacology, biodiversity as well as legislations and research strategies. This gathering will provide a tool to establish interdisciplinary network between Egyptian and the international scientists in order to inspire and provoke crucial discussions and debates in the field. The conference program includes keynote talks, oral presentations, poster sessions, roundtalk discussions, as well as sessions for fund raising, scientific writing and meet-the-expert.

is organised by a group of ambitious scientists around the globe. We would like to invite you to participate in the conferences. Proceedings
Submitted manuscripts will not automatically be accepted. Accepted manuscript will be published in a recognized international journal as a special issue. We will conduct internal and external reviews and never guarantee the publication unless manuscript accepted by international peer-reviewers. This is very important to keep in mind so that we ensure the highest possible quality of our manuscripts.
Proof-reading services are available upon request.
Accommodation and Alexandria: A list of varieties of hotels and hostels will be available.
Please manage your travel and accommodation according to your resources. However we will do our best to have special arrangements with hotels. Alexandria can be easily reached by regular flights or by a flight to Cairo followed by domestic flights, train, bus or limousine. It has an atmosphere that is more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern; its ambience and cultural heritage distance it from the rest of Egypt. The climate during December is wonderful. Tours to historical and monumental sights inside and outside Alexandria will be arranged, the tours will include touristic attractions such as the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Greco-Roman museum, the Roman theatre, the fort of Qayetbay, Al-Haramlek palace in Montazah, the Royal Jewelry Museum and the Underwater Discoveries.
