Acknowledgment in the beginning to the One and Only Allah The Almightily, then to the teacher for assigning us this wonderful opportunity to search and explore the frontiers of multimedia systems in terms of modern technological achievements made so far and their future approach too. We have concluded our topic mainly from both audio and video aspects as far as multimedia systems are concern. Then a relative study of the topic is made to the human perceiving organs such as ears and eyes; and the effect of the specific terminology to both of them.

Quality improvement enhancement is done by comparing different aspects of audio and video theory. Where the modern computerized approach for producing better results thats by photo, video and audio editing option available. Much more then that the advance architectural improvements are making it far more better than the previous version and making it far more beyond the approach and 20 years ago.

MMS HIGH DEFINATION

HD or High definition is basically defining a single pixel that an eye can see or a single sound beat that a ear can listen. The term is mainly associated with both the audio and video frontiers of the multimedia systems, as its composition makes a good and healthy entertaining activity such as movies, songs, pictures and etc. Other then entertainment its quite so immune to irritation feasibility of once vision and listening power; giving birth to the phenomena of bringing perfection is what's needed to ensure an excellent entertaining source and audio video necessity too.

BRIEF HISTORY
Modern HD specifications date to the early 1970s, when Japanese engineers developed the High Vision 1,125-line interlaced TV standard (also called MUSE) that ran at 60 frames per second. Japan presented their standard at an international meeting of television engineers in Algiers in 1981; and Japan's NHK presented its analog HDTV system at Swiss conference in 1983. The FCC process, led by the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) adopted a range of standards from interlaced 1,080-line video (a technical descendant of the original analog NHK 1125/30 Hz system) with a maximum frame rate of 30 Hz, and 720-line video, progressively scanned, with a maximum frame rate of 60 Hz. In the early 2000s, it looked as if DVB would be the video standard far into the future. However, both Brazil and China have adopted alternative standards for highdefinition video ]that preclude the interoperability that was hoped for after decades of largely non-interoperable analog TV broadcasting. And the greed to improve quality never ended and is going so on .

For understanding HD clearly and brilliantly we first study the general of the human resources for hearing and viewing, mean Ear and Eye.

THE HUMAN EYE

The human organ responsible for vision. Eyes are organs that detect light, and convert it to electro-chemical impulses in neurons. The simplest photoreceptors in conscious vision connect light to movement. Converts this image into a set of electrical signals; and transmits these signals to the brain. Our major concern is the resolution that is 1080 pixels and 60 Frames per second in terms of natural Height definition. Where anything emitted other then the natural color range of the human eye will destroy the lens and of course can produce blindness.

THE HUMAN EAR
The ear is the anatomical organ that detects sound. It not only acts as a receiver for sound, but also plays a major role in the sense of balance and body position. The ear is part of the auditory system. Ear drum vibrates to form a audio signal sensed by cochlea in the end and send by auditory nerves to the brain. Our major concern is the frequency supported by the ear drum that is 20Hz to 20kHz, where anything beyond the positive and negative range can destroy the ear drum. Where noise is a very important point can't b neglected. Where the sense of surround sound is also very important.

After this it's also very important to consider the visual aspects of a video and picture with reference to context to the human viewing device the eye.

Pixel:
In digital imaging, a Pixel, or Pel is a single point in a raster image, or the smallest addressable screen element in a display device; it is the smallest unit of picture that can be represented or controlled. Each pixel has its own address. The address of a pixel corresponds to its coordinates. Pixels are normally arranged in a twodimensional grid, and are often represented using dots or squares.

Display Resolution:
The display resolution of a digital television or display device is the number of distinct pixels in each dimension that can be displayed or its simply the product of number of horizontal rows vs. the number of pixels in each of that line. Where the resolution of 1920x1080 or 1080p or HD in short is the technical specification or the correct resolution of an HD image.

Frame:
A video frame is a still image of some certain resolution, which in case of HD is a 1080p.

Frame Rate:
Frame Rate is number of frames per second abbreviated as "FPS", where a 30FPS is a digital DVD High Quality for 720p & 1080p, where 60FPS is for the Modern 'BD' Blue ray disk for 1080i, the maximum limit for frame rate till today.

1080i:
The modern LED and OLED displays are used to produce a 1080i results that where 'i' stands for the human eye and its is the maximum specification that a human eye can see. That is 1080p and 60FPS.

Decibel (dB):
The decibel (dB) is a logarithmic unit that indicates the ratio of a physical quantity (usually power or intensity) relative to a specified or implied reference level. A ratio in decibels is ten times the logarithm to base 10 of the ratio of two power quantities. A decibel is one tenth of a bel, a seldom-used unit. This is that every audio power loss is calculated in dB's or dBps Decibel per second.

Sound Drum Vibration:

A thin paper and aluminum cone is attached to the magnetic coiled part of the speaker that produces oscillations which results in the formation of certain audible frequency, listen by us.

Cameras and Camcorders:

A digital camera or 'digicam' is a camera that takes video or still photographs, or both, digitally by recording images via an electronic image sensor. It is the main device used in the field of digital photography. Where lenses of high aperture is used with many of the modern day electronic sensors with all the multimedia fundamentals applied to them which provide great lightning conditions and good resolution with realistic effects & for sure a resolution of 1080p.

A digital video recorder (DVR) is a consumer electronics device or application software that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card or other local or networked mass storage device. For a HD device it records 1080p 30FPS for DVD & other flesh mediums and some of the professional versions records HDV High Definition Video 1080i 60FPS the same as of the human eye.

Surround Sound Systems:
Surround sound encompasses a range of techniques such as for enriching the sound reproduction quality of an audio source with audio channels reproduced via additional, discrete speakers. Surround sound is characterized by a listener location or sweet spot where the audio effects work best, and presents a fixed or forward perspective of the sound field to the listener at this location. There are other non surround based formats. The three-dimensional (3D) sphere of human hearing can be virtually achieved with audio channels that surround the listener. To that end, the multichannel surround sound application encircles the audience with surround channels (left-surround, right-surround, back-surround), as opposed to "screen channels" (center, [front] left, and [front] right), i.e. ca. 360 horizontal plane (2D).

And for HD Audio all the aspects of the speakers the clearly and impedance matching of the audible frequency range of the human ear is very important.

High Definition Television:

High-definition television (or HDTV) is video that has resolution substantially higher than that of traditional television systems (standard-definition TV, or SDTV, or SD). HDTV has one or two million pixels per frame, roughly five times that of SD. Early HDTV broadcasting used analog techniques, but today HDTV is digitally broadcast using video compression.

High Definition Flat Panel Monitor:

High-definition monitor LCD based on TTL, LED or OLED technologies are very common and those with a resolution of 1920x1080 with 60Hz to 75Hz and above are consider as Full HD 1080p.

The HD approach is made it easy to distinguish between results and mover over the improved quality of multimedia systems force engineers to create and make new devices and equipment and design new things that are very clear and beautiful looking and sweet to hear. That is the Multi- touch and 3D technologies are enhancing the force of High Definition to the sense of belonging that is the a very intuitive interaction with the with the digital world and computerized objects are looking more like in the real world around us
