Campus Recreation Group Fitness Timetable:

Group Fitness is the easiest and most enjoyable way to start your fitness regime. Never used a gym before? Dont worry our experienced and friendly group fitness instructors will get you started. Just tell them you are new and they will let you know what you are going to be doing in their class. You will be on your way to improving your health, fitness and confidence. Dont worry, if you are experienced, instructors can provide many levels of intensity and complexity within the same class so you wont get bored. With over 30 classes per week and 9 different class styles, your 3 S's of fitness are covered: STRENGTH, STAMINA & SUPPLENESS. TRY ONE TODAY

Class Descriptions
STEP: Step is a class designed to increase your stamina, reduce body fat and improve coordination. We have a number of different instructors who develop their own choreography using athletic and dance based styles. All styles will give you a great work out! Intensity: Medium, Coordination: Medium PUMP: This class uses free weights, barbells and dumbbells, to develop strength, endurance and tone muscles. Intensity level is determined by each participant so this class is suitable for all fitness levels. Instructors are well versed in describing muscle groups being used and ensuring correct technique to get optimum results. Intensity: Up to you, Coordination: Low FIGHT DO (TKO): This is a kickboxing and martial arts style class. This workout combines kick, knee and punch combinations done to pumping music. Suitable for all levels of fitness, with hi and lo impact options available. Intensity: Medium, Coordination Medium SPIN: This indoor cycling class gives you an easy and effective workout. SPIN is great for cardio-vascular fitness, leg strength and toning, all with no impact. Motivating music and instructors will help you improve your fitness while having fun! Intensity: Up to you, Coordination: Low ZUMBA: Zumba is a Latin inspired dance workout using rhythms and beats from all over the world. Its a party class where having fun is the main focus. Leave you inhibitions atthe door and be prepared for a new kind of work out you don't even realise till its all over. Intensity: Up to you, Coordination: Medium Club Beats: Club Beats is a dance class that can help you improve your fitness. Dance based moves have been incorporated into a hienergy aerobics style class. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness wanting to get their groove thang on! Intensity: Low-Medium, Coordination: Medium AB&T : This class targets 3 problem areas; abdominals, butts and thighs. Low impact exercises are used to strengthen and tighten your lower body. Tummies are trimmed and legs are sculpted, improving your overall body shape. Intensity: Low, Coordination: Low PILATES: Improve your breathing, body organisation, core control, flexibility, postural alignment and movement integration will be taught. Participants will gain body awareness, feel taller, relaxed and centered after sessions. Intensity: Medium, Coordination: Low YOGA: Learn to relax with improved breathing to release stress and tension. Your balance, posture and range of motion will be improved and your muscles relaxed. Intensity: Low, Coordination: Low
