Overview In the mean duration time mentioned above we visit company ENAR couples of time to study the Burner ,so for designing our project we can know that what kind of temperature ,pressure ,flow and stepper motors have to use .We have designed the complete logic for our project and have searched the numbers of sensors that are compatible for our project but yet surveying the market for the availability of those sensors.

A. Current Status Accomplishments: Uptill now we have designed how to make our model and have searched the types of temperature sensors and pressure sensors. Designing of dummy valve using stepper motor is in progress and have read the manual given to us by the ENAR Oil Refinery about the burner. Problem Areas (Challenges): The problem we are facing now is that we are not getting the type of pressure sensor which we want but the searching progress is on the way and InshaAllah we are going to find some way to solve it.

B. Issues Technical Issues: Uptill now no technical issues have come across. Management Issues: All the team members are very co-operative with each other. No management issues. Financial Issues: No such change in the cost of the project up till now.

C. Plans for Next Period Milestones/ Tasks: InshaAllah after our papers we are going to give our designed model work to the vendor and in the meanwhile we are going to use the temperature sensors and interface it with the controller as well as we are also going to interface the stepper motor with the controller for the valves. Then the pressure sensor availability will be searched and the work on it will be started InshaAllah by the end of June. Incase of any problems faced by us, we are going to consult our internal as well as external for the help and guidance and well try to give every success or failure reports to our internal.

Attachments Role of Taher (2004-EE-060) Taher as a team member of this project has searched the types of temperature sensors and have also checked their availability and have also taken part in designing the core model of the burner. I have revised my controller theory cause its going to be used in our project. The interfacing of temperature sensor with controller will be done by me InshaAllah after the papers. I have also studied the manual given to us by the ENAR Refinery Co. Role of Abdul Qadir (2004-EE-061) Abdul Qadir as a member of this project has searched on servo motors and have learned how to control it and interface it with the controller and has also taken part in designing the core model of the burner. I have studied the manual of the real time burner and will perform the work on servos interfaced with controller after exams. Role of Mussaddiq (2004-EE-062) Mussaddiq as a member of this project have searched and is searching on pressure sensors and am also studying how to interface it with the controller. I am also revising controller work. I too have studied the manual and have also taken part in the designing of the core model. I will start this practical work after exams. Role of Farhan Sohail (2004-EE-063) Farhan as a member of this project is studying ladder programming as well as STL programming of PLC. I am also managing the cash accounts . I too have studied the manual and have also taken part in designing the core model. I will make the interlocking loops in the program after the exams. Role of Fahad (2004-EE-587) Fahad as a member of this project is also studying ladder programming of PLC. I am also managing the cash accounts. I have studied the manual and have also taken part in designing the core model. I am also making the reports.
