MCN CONE FENDERS

Maritime Internationals MCN cone fender represents the most

modern technology being offered in the fender industry today. MCN
fenders have the highest energy to reaction ratios of any fender
currently in use. The high efciency of the fender allows a smaller,
less costly, rubber fender to be installed. The MCN Cone Fender
has a design deection of 70% of its height and provides
great exibility in its application to operators.

Maritime Internationals MCS Cell fender is the most commonly

used fender in the industry. It is unmatched in durability and
reliability and has proven itself over decades of service. MCS fenders
are available in the widest range of sizes of any fender type. The
large mounting anges serve to distribute the fender load
over the back of the fender panel frame and allows easy
installation of the mounting bolts.

Maritime Internationals ME Leg / Element fender provides a

compact solution for the mounting of fenders in limited areas. These
fenders are high performance units which are extremely versatile.
ME fenders have a narrower footprint than traditional leg fenders
which allows for a multitude of congurations. They can
be xed behind a panel or a pile and can be provided in
varying lengths. ME leg fenders can also be used with a
UHMW-PE shield to provide a low cost alternative
to an arch type fender.

Maritime Internationals AD Arch fender is a V type fender that

has been optimized for increased energy absorption compared to
traditional arch fenders on the market. They are particularly useful
for vessels with high allowable hull pressures and for locations
where mounting space is limited. A variety of sizes and
lengths are offered. Additionally these fenders can be
supplied with bolted or bonded UHMW facings.

Maritime Internationals prole fenders include cylindrical, D shape,

square, wing type and many other shapes. The inherent simplicity of
the installation and operation of these fenders makes these units an
economical solution for docks and piers that are required to cope
with a variety of vessels. Maritime provides a standard range
of sizes for each prole, but is able to manufacture to suit
specic needs. All prole fenders can be mounted in a
variety of methods and we can provide you with a
conguration to suit your needs.

Maritime International, Inc. maintains a large inventory of high performance shear type
fenders for quick call-out repair and replacement works. Our shear fenders are drop-in
replacements for most existing installations and come in a variety of sizes 12 20.

Shear fenders are especially effective in docking facilities that cannot accept high
berthing reactions. As indicated by the fenders name, they are designed to work in
shear, in any direction and under compression.
Our shear fenders are unique and

effective when designed as

UHMW-PE
Maritime International faces all of its complete fender panel systems with high
quality UHMW-PE face pads. The UHMW-PE possesses a low coefcient of friction
which provides a smooth sliding surface for the vessel to travel along the fender face.
Maritime Internationals UHMW-PE comes in many colors and thicknesses per project
requirements and also can be provided in a re-processed grade for a more economical
solution. UHMW-PE can also be supplied in stand-alone applications not related to rubber
fenders, for sliding surfaces that do not require any energy absorption.

DOCK FENDER CHAIN

ANCHOR SHACKLES

Dock Fender Chain

Maritime Internationals safety bolt anchor shackles are suitable

for all fendering applications. The large bow allows multiple
chains to be attached to one shackle when necessary. The
shackles can be supplied in a wide range of sizes. Shackles are
supplied with a hot dip galvanized nish. The strength of these
shackles exceeds most chain strengths of comparable size.
Shackles are forged, quenched and tempered with alloy
safety bolt-type pins.

Maritime Internationals dock fender chain is a versatile open

link high strength chain suitable for all fendering applications.
The long inside length and wide inside width allow standard
shackles to t through the link without the need for special
end links or the need to double shackle the end. Maritimes
dock fender chain can be supplied in any practical length and
is typically supplied with a hot dip galvanized nish. All sizes
are proof tested at the factory and a certicate of testing can be
supplied.

Finish will be hot dip galvanized.

All chain is heat treated after welding and before proof testing.

Cotter pins are stainless steel.

Chain can also be supplied self colored or with special coatings

upon request. Longer lead times may be required for special
nishes.
Other sizes and grades are available.
