The Bachelor of Leisure and Tourism Management course is an international four year degree course. The modular structure of this degree course offers the flexibility to study abroad and to do the mandatory internship in any of semesters four to seven. These are integral parts of the course. Besides imparting basic tenets of business management, specialised skills are developed during the first semesters. The theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom is deepened through excursions, guest lectures from business specialists and the organisation of special events such as our annual autumn academy. The fifth semester is dedicated to an internship in Germany or abroad with joint support from the "Fachhochschule Stralsund" and the companies involved. The University of Applied Sciences has therefore developed close links to regional, national and international companies. The purpose of the practical phase is to apply the students' theoretical knowledge to practical requirements. The Bachelor's thesis in the 8th semester will also be conducted in close cooperation with the partner companies.
