DIRECTORS MESSAGE

This report is compiled primarily to answer the questions posed by our customers (recruiters, alumni, faculty and future students), but also allows our internal staff to reect on the years performance and continuously improve the product and processes that we call the Ivey Experience. Together we continue to show that Ivey graduates are recognized as a signicant source of talent for the worlds leading organizations, with excellent placement and reporting rates for the 2006 graduating class. Over 210 organizations from 39 industries in 9 countries recruited the 2006 graduating class. 96% of our graduates received offers in a diverse range of industries and geographic locations; over 100 companies from 37 industries in 7 countries, with a 90% reporting rate.

Ivey Career Management (CM) offers the broadest and deepest support and services in Canada as one of the top programs in the world. Over the length of the program a partnership develops between the student and CM staff, with 86% of the 2006 graduating class being individually coached by our professionals.

The results prove that Ivey students are successful, that they have choice in their careers following Ivey and that they are utilizing the rich resources and support available to them from the team in Career Management:

INDUSTRY CHOICE
We continue to recognize the diverse career interests of our students and career opportunities of our recruiters in both traditional and emerging markets. 25% accepted positions in Accounting. 23% accepted positions in Investment Banking. 9% accepted positions in Corporate Banking and Other Finance. 14% accepted positions in Consulting. 5% accepted positions in Consumer Product Goods. 5% accepted positions in IT/Telecomms. 4% accepted positions in Wholesale and Retail. 15% accepted positions in 18 other industries.

GEOGRAPHIC CHOICE
68% of all jobs were accepted in Toronto, with 32% of job acceptances occurring in 3 other provinces and 6 other countries.

SUPPORT
86% of the 2006 HBA graduating class was individually coached by our professional staff. 82% sourced their position through Ivey facilitated avenues. 18% secured their position through other avenues. Individuals come to Ivey for a world-class education. We are pleased to be an important part of this experience, with our 1-to-1 Career Management approach that offers the support our students need to launch their careers as Ivey alumni. Ivey dedicates time in the academic curriculum to teach career management concepts. This commitment by the whole school to career management success is part of the Ivey difference. Combined with our boutique, pragmatic and one-on-one approach, we are able to successfully adapt the diversity in our students experiences and education into the realization of their career goals. Ivey students take advantage of the boutique services available and are successful in their job search. 86% of HBA students in the 2006 graduating class were individually coached by our professional staff. 90% of all Ivey students reported their post-graduating plans. 96% of the 2006 graduates had offers by September 30, 2006. Average Overall Total Compensation was $62,300*.

At Ivey we provide a network of support through alumni, corporate relationships, professional career coaches and a career strategies coach to help students navigate through all the job search avenues. 82% of the 2006 HBA graduating class attributed their job to Ivey facilitated methods. 18% of the 2006 HBA graduating class found their job through other means.
