(*) Microsoft Office XP has not yet been validated with Thomson Reuters Eikon. Nevertheless, the product allows installation of the desktop application if Office XP is detected. Thomson Reuters is not aware of any known issues when using Thomson Reuters Eikon with Office XP. (**) By default, the installation program caches the installation kit for future usage (this is the default option for Thomson Reuters Hosted and Thomson Reuters Managed installations and it cant be disabled). Access to the installation source files is required when patching and updating the desktop. You should disable this feature only if you plan to make the installation source available from a shared network location (only available for Customer Managed installations). When this feature is disabled, disk space requirements are reduced to 300MB. (***) This version of XML is installed by default with all the operating systems supported by Thomson Reuters Eikon (****) This is only available for server side installations for Citrix deployment. The Windows server editions are not supported for standard Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop installations. Full support for Windows Server 2008 is planned to be available in the next months following the Thomson Reuters Eikon availability
