Main Information

0.1.1 Overall Description The vessel will be IMO ship 2G type, designed as a single screw, diesel engine driven, single deck, double hull tanker, suitable for the transport of gases in two cylindrical pressure tanks. 1.0 General The vessel will be built of mild steel. High tensile will be used where appropriate. Cargo tanks structure will be designed with MARVS of 5 bar at a cargo density of 0,6 t/m3, however also to withstand sloshing forces due 3 to partially filled tanks with cargo density up to 0,98 t/m . 1.1 Hull structure The upper deck with trunk above cargo tanks between forecastle deck and poop deck will be provided. Racked stem with bulbous bow and transom stern will be arranged. Continuous double bottom and double skin in cargo area. Inner bottom in cargo area sloped. The transverse bulkhead of plane type will be situated between cargo tanks. 1.2 Framing Longitudinal stiffeners and transverse web-frames as a main system will be arranged in cargo area. 1.3 Outfitting Half-round steel fenders will be fitted on each side. Bilge keel, aligned according to stream-line flow test will be fitted at approx. 30% of ships length. 1.4 Welding Continuous welding will be used in all tanks, wet spaces and on open decks. Double continuous full penetration welding for all welds of plates, against cargo. 1.5 Painting The surfaces of copper, copper alloy, aluminium alloy, stainless steel, galvanized steel or other non-corrosive materials, surfaces in contact with doubling plates and internal surfaces of tightly enclosed spaces will not be painted unless otherwise specified. 1.5.1 Primary Surface Preparation The mild steel plates from 4 mm thick and profiles will be shot-blasted to class Sa 2,5 as per PN-ISO 85011:1996 and coated with zinc silicate Shop Primer (abt 15-20 thick). 1.5.2 Secondary Surface Preparation After fabrication and prior to application of the first coat of paint system, damages of shop primer by welding, burning, rubbing and rusted surfaces will be prepared to classes as per PN-ISO 8501-1:1996 and PN-ISO 8501-2:1998. Intact shop primer will be light abrasive swept. Oil and grease will be removed with suitable solvent. 1.5.3 Painting process All painting works including surface preparation, application of shop primer and all coats will be performed in compliance with the Specification, Builder Standard and paint suppliers published recommendations. Steelwork preparation standard according to Builders standard. 1.5.4 Painting specification External painting will include: - for bottom and sides below waterline high quality epoxy system & self polishing anti-fouling, - for top side high quality epoxy system,

2.1 Rudder and Steering Gear One streamlined, partially balanced rudder with area and structural dimensions according to Class requirements. One electro-hydraulic rotary vane type steering gear will be installed in a separate room. Steering gear will be equipped with two electrically driven hydraulic pumps, one as stand-by. 2.2 Anchor and Mooring Equipment The anchor-mooring equipment will consist of: - 2 combined anchor/mooring winches forward, - 1 mooring winch aft, - 1 combined anchor/mooring winch aft. All winches will be hydraulically driven. Mooring equipment will include also 2 fore and 1 aft flush-stowing anchors in pockets, chain cable of K3 steel, chain stoppers, insurance rope etc.

2.3 Lifesaving Equipment The safety equipment will comply with SOLAS and consist of: - One (1) enclosed, fire-protected free-fall lifeboat system, - One (1) outboarder diesel engine driven M.O.B. boat of GRP construction, - Single point rotating jib crane type davit for M.O.B. boat, - Two (2) inflatable rafts, aft, - One (1) inflatable raft, forward, - Life-buoys, life-jackets and other lifesaving equipment. 2.4 Deck lifting equipment

2.4.1 Hose Handling Crane The vessel will be equiped in electro-hydrulic crane, locally and remote operated. Lifting capacity and outreach will be suitable for cargo hoses handling purposes. 2.4.2 Provision crane One electro-hydraulic store and provision crane, 2 tonnes SWL at approx. 12 m outreach. 2.5 Stairs and ladders

2.5.1 Accommodation ladders Two, one-man operated accommodation ladders with pneumatic winches will placed on SB&PS. 2.5.2 Pilot ladders Two typical pilot rope ladders will be provided for the embarkation of a pilot on board. 2.5.3 Portable gangway One portable aluminium gangway abt. 6 m length will be foreseen. 2.5.4 Outside stairs Outside stairs, 600 or 700 mm clear width, made of steel, hot deep galvanized, will be arranged as shown on o General Arrangement Plan. The slope of the exterior stairs to be approx. 50 to the horizontal. 2.6 Catwalk A catwalk will be arranged at the top of deck trank between poop and forecastle. 2.7 Miscellaneous Deck Equipment

2.7.1 Portable Fire Fighting Equipment Portable fire extinguishers, fireman's equipment and fireman's outfits will be supplied and installed at suitable location according to the IMO and Class Rules, and the Authorities regulations. 2.7.2 Minor Deck Equipment Minor deck equipment includes: - folded flag boom, forward and aft, made of steel tubes, - signal bell, - whistle and gong on fore mast, - transport basket, - foundation and securing arrangements for Suez Canal searchlight 2.7.3 Signal Signs The following signal signs are provided on board in accordance with the requirements of the Rules: signal balls, signal rhombus and national flag 2.7.4 Fore Mast One fully welded steel tube foremast with brackets for navigation lights and an access ladders will be arranged on the forecastle deck. 2.7.5 Navigation Mast The mast will be of a grate construction, welded of steel tubes and plates. It will be provided with platforms for radar scanners, brackets for radio aerials and navigation lights as well as with a yard for signal marks.

2.7.6 Satellite Aerial Mast This mast will be of a tripod construction. It will be welded of steel tubes and plates and it will have a platform for the aerial.

3.0 General The vessel accomodation includes: - 2 suits (day & bedroom) with office and private SH/WC, - 6 single cabin with private SH/WC for officers, - 6 single cabin with private SH/WC for crew, - 1 double berth hospital/repair crew cabin with private SH/WC, - 1 Suez Crew cabin (4 persons) - 1 pilot cabin - separate mess-rooms and day-rooms for officers and crew, - ship office with 4 desks, conference area and archive cabinets, - galley and pantry adjacent to mess rooms, - refrigerated & dry provision rooms with handling area, - space for 5 garbage containers, - changing room, - laundry and drying room, - public WCs, - stores rooms, linien rooms and cleaning lockers, - Ships Operation Centre (SOC), - wheelhouse with enclosed bridge wings, all-round vision, navigation and conning position. The accommodation will be arranged as shown on GA-plan. All materials used in accommodation will be incombustible / fire retarding and approved for use on board ships. Samples of panels, laminates, fabrics, floor coverings will be submitted to Owner for approval. Depending on the service and applied standard compartments will be provided with set of furniture for sitting, lying, work and storage. Furniture according to catalogues of standard furniture delivered by FAMOS REMONTOWA. 3.1 Insulation The ship is provided with fire, thermal and acoustic insulation. Fire insulation will be on A15 - A60 divisions. Thickness and type of fire insulation as per requirements of regulations, confirmed by manufacturers certificates Comfort insulation will be of 100 mm mineral wool for accommodation and 50 mm for technical spaces In spaces exposed to excessive noise and vibration will be acoustic insulation. 3.2 Wall lining and bulkheads Bulkhead lining and partitions class B and C will be made of standard prefabricated mineral wool panels with galvanised steel sheet glued on both sides. Visible side of panels will be covered with decorative PVC foil. Insulated bulkheads and decks in store rooms and technical compartments exposed to mechanical damage

will be lined with galvanised steel sheet 0,7 mm thick. Bulkheads and decks insulation in store rooms and technical compartments not exposed to mechanical damage will be covered with aluminised glass cloth. 3.3 Deckheads Lining Suspended FAMOS type ceiling in form of strips made of galvanised steel sheet, filled with mineral wool will be provided. Visible surfaces of panels will be lacquered. Generally height of accommodation will be 2050 mm measured from deck level to ceiling panels. 3.4 Deck Covering Deck in area of accommodation will be covered with seamless compound of thickness 5-10mm with glued on PVC or ceramic tiles for wet compartments. 3.5 Doors The height of upper door opening edge measured from deck covering will not be less than 1950 mm. The minimum width 650mm. Doors in accommodation shell be at least of B-0 class. In A-class divisions will be installed A-class door. Outside doors will be as required by Load Lines Convention. 3.6 Windows All windows will be with main frame welded into bulkheads/ship side. All windows will be made of toughened safety glass. Six wheelhouse front windows will be fitted with electric heating elements and window wipers. 3.7 Deck Store Rooms Deck store rooms will be equipped with shelves, tables etc. 3.8 Accommodation Staircases, Stairs and Rails Staircases construction will be made of steel. Steps will be covered with Vinyl covering. Accommodation rails will be made of steel pipe. 3.9 Information Plates Each door will have information plates with number and description of compartment. 4.1 ER Lay-out The following spaces will be arranged in Engine Room : - Separators Compartment, - Engine Control Room, - Mechanical Workshop and store. 4.2 Propulsion System Propulsion system consists of: - one main engine MAK 9M32C of 4320 kW/ 600 rpm, - flexible couplings between gear and ME and between gear and shaft generator, - one main gear box for reduction of M.E. revolutions 600 rpm to propeller revolutions 143.2 rpm, with one PTO, - built-in hydraulic clutch for propeller shaft and built in thrust bearing, - one propeller shaft with SIMPLEX stern tube, - one CP propeller. 4.3 Fuel and Ambient Conditions ER will be designed for the following type of fuels: Heavy Fuel Oil 380 cSt at 50C: - for operation of main engine and burner of thermal oil heaters; Marine Diesel Oil DMA acc to ISO 8217 with viscosity up to 6 cSt at 40C: - for operation of diesel generators. 4.4 Machinery and Arrangement This will be fitted on steel foundations or on pads as specified below: - Main Engine will be mounted on epoxy resin chocks, - gear box with PTO fastened on epoxy resin chocks, - two diesel generators and EDG on flexible pads, - thermal oil heaters - fastened on steel pads, - air compressors, separators and fans - on flexible pads, - pumps: on steel pads. 4.5 Thermal oil heaters There will be provided: - One oil fired thermal oil heater . - One exhaust gas economiser . The heaters will be installed in circulation system with oil fired heater as main. The capacity will be calculated according to the heat consumption requirements. 4.6 Exhaust Gas Ducts Exhaust gas ducts, including silencers and spark arresters, will be made of steel pipes, insulated with mineral wool covered with glass fabric, and in ER additionally protected with galvanised steel plates. 4.7 Generators Two auxiliary generators, driven by four-stroke diesel, high-speed, single-acting, operated on marine diesel oil, fresh water cooled, compressed-air started. Parallel operation between generator sets will be arranged. Also, one shaft generator will be foreseen. Output power of generators will be calculated according to the load balance. 4.8 Emergency Diesel Generator One emergency generator, driven by diesel, four-stroke, high-speed, single-acting, radiator cooled type engine.

4.9 Bow thruster One electric motor driven bow thruster of 500 kW will be installed in the bow thruster room. 4.10 Incinerator One solid / oil waste incinerator with all equipment for automatic operation to be provided. 4.11 Engine room systems 4.11.1 Fuel systems Fuel systems will include: storage tanks, settling and service tanks for HFO and MDO, 2 HFO purifiers with steam heaters, 1 MDO purifier with steam heater, separate service tank for emergency generator, 1 HFO transfer pump (20m3/h at 3 bar), 1 MDO transfer pump (10m3/h at 3 bar). 4.11.2 Lub. oil systems Lub. oil systems will include storage tanks, 1 LO transfer pump (2m3/h at 2,5 bar), 2 LO purifiers with steam heater, 2 LO circulating pumps for ME, LO cooler for main engine, LO filter for main engine, 1 Dirty LO renovating tank, 1 sludge pump (15m3/h at 2,5 bar), 1 sludge collecting tank, with heating coils for steam heating 4.11.3 Cooling water system Cooling water system will provide cooling for main and aux. engines, lub. Oil coolers, jacket coolers, charge air coolers, etc., air conditioning plants, referigerating plants, hydraulic oil coolers, etc. It will consists of 2 low temp. F.W. cooling and 2 high temp. FW cooling pumps, 2 low temp. and 2 High Temp. Coolers. 4.11.4 Compressed air systems Compressed air systems will include 2 start air compressors and 2 start air receivers, 1 utility air compressor of 500 nm3/h capacity with air drying unit and 1 utility receiver, 1 separate control air compressor and system, with drying unit and reservoir. 4.11.5 Thermal oil systems The heating thermal oil system will be arranged as closed circulating system. The system will consist of two circulating pumps and expansion tank. Thermal oil dump cooler on fresh water LT system is provided. 4.11.6 Distilled and make-up water system Distilled and make-up water system will be consist of 1 FW generator heated by ME cooling system and steam 4.12 Floors, grating and stairs in ER Floor will be made of steel chequered plates. Gratings will be made of galvanised grating plates in ER casing and of chequered plate in remaining areas. Stairs in ER will be 600 mm wide and inclined not more than 60o to horizontal. Gratings and stairs have handrails made of steel pipes. Vertical ladders, 300 mm wide, will be provided above Main Deck (engine casing and funnel). 4.13 Lifting appliances, fittings controls and miscellaneous On rails will be provided: - manually operated hoist above main engine (and in workshop), - manually operated hoist above each generating set, - manually operated hoist for fuel/oil separators. Above machinery/arrangements of weight above 50 kg, dismantling lugs of suitable capacity will be provided. Quick closing valves ( requested by Rules ) on FO and LO tanks will be pneumatically operated except on EDG service tank on which linkage operated valve will be provided. Ships Piping Systems

5.2.1 Cargo System Description The cargo handling system will be designed for loading, discharging and cooling two grades of cargo at a time. The liquid loading/discharge lines and vapour lines will be connected to two liquid and two vapour crossovers. The cargo handling plant and containment system will be designed for loading time of abt.9 hours when flash gas generated by expension to tank pressure is returned to shore using vapor return line. Similarly, unloading time, using gas return line, will be abt. 9 hours. There will be discharege deepwell pumps in each tank. A booster pump/cargo heater will be fitted to warm up Propylene/LPG/NH3 cargoes. The cargo compressors & cascade refrigerant compressors will be located in deck module with certified electrical equipment. The capacity of the reliquefaction plant will be enable a full ethylene cargo to be cooled o o o at a rate of 3 C/day over the range -97 C to -103 C. The cargo system will enable following operations: cargo tank inserting, cargo tank purging, cargo tank loading, cargo tank discharging, cargo tank gas freeing and heating cargo on passage. Two (2) deck tanks of abt. 60m3 capacity, properly equipped, will be fitted on main deck. The deck tanks will be connected to the cargo system by means of removable spool pieces. The reliquefaction system will be arranged so that the deck tanks can be connected to one system. The deck tanks shall be suitable for a maxium pressure of 18 bar in accordance with USCG requirements and will be insualted to permit storage of refrigerated ethylene. 5.2.5 Cargo tank pumps The tanks will be provided with deepwell pumps of vertical, multistage design. Maximum specific gravity is 0,98 kg/dm3. Pump capacity depends on final tank sizes and required discharge time. The deepwell pumps are driven by electric motors. Two, Booster pumps, capacity of about 25% of total deepwell capacity, will be also arranged. 5.2.6 Cargo compressors and refrigerant compressors systems There will be two (2) oil free cargo compressors with suitable capacity, that will be driven by certified safe electric motor. Also the system will include two (2) refrigerant compressors with adjustable capacity. These compressors will be driven by certified safe electric motors. A liquid separator will be fitted in the vapour line to separate entrained droplets in the compressor suction and prevent liquid from enetering the compressors. 5.2.7 Cargo Heater/Vapouriser A cargo heater will be fitted to re-heat refrigerated cargoes to ambient temperature. The heating fluid will be water/glycol mixture, which in turn will be heated by electrical elements or thermal oil. A separate cargo vapouriser will be provided to evaporate Ethylene cargo. The unit will use a refrigerant gas for the cargo vapourisation and the refrigerant will be evaporated in turn by electrical elements or theraml oil. 5.2.8 Additional cargo system equipment Cargo valves in accordance with ANSI standards will be selected to suit temperature and pressure ranges through which the valves operate in service. The cargo piping will be of stainless steel 316 L comprising pipes, flanges, valves, nuts, gaskets, etc. to ANSI standards and schedules in accordance with Classification Society requirements and fitted to interconnect all the specified equipment. Pipes will be supported on sufficient number of bridge type foundations to avoid vibrations. The complete piping system will be earthed by means of stainless steel earthing strips connected across bolted flanges and all piping systems will be earthed to the ships structure. Vent mast will be installed with the outlet located acoording to Rules requirements. Cross-overs in the liquid and vapour lines will be located on the main deck close to midships acc. to OCIMF recommendations as far as applicable. The presentation flanges: 1x8,1x6 on liquid lines and 1x6, 1x4 on vapour lines. Two safety relief valves for each cargo tank will be sized in accordance with IMO requirements and having the following set pressures: - cargo tank relief valve setting IMO : 5,0 bar - cargo tank releif valve setting USCG: 3,3 bar abt. Drain collector vessels all theraml safety blow off lines and liquid drains will be led to collector vessel, that will have outlet connections to the vent mast and valved connections for drainage into stripping lines and will be manufactured in stainless steel. Fresh water/glycol system for compressors will be fitted for cooling and heating the cargo compressors. 5.2.9 Nitrogen/Dry Air Plant/N2 Topping A plant will be fitted to produce dry nitrogen at a suitable capacity at an Oxygen content of 0,5% (vol) and a dewpoint of -50 Cdeg. This may be either a PSA plant or based on the membrane system. The plant will also produce dry air with with suitable capacity and dewpoint of -20 Cdeg. A rack for holding bottles will be provided to enable the nitrogen supply for topping-up purposes providing positive pressure in the cargo tank vapour space. 5.2.10 Control systems The cargo system will be designed basically for local manual operation and control of the equipment such as compressors, pumps, valves, etc.,but with remote monitoring and indication of certain instrumentation. remote indication of plant trip and alarm functions will be managed by workstations of centralized ship automation system located in Cargo Control Room. Cargo Control Console will contain: - display unit for remote temperature and pressure readingsand the visual indicator for trips and alarms, - keyboard, - printer to record date and time of any alarm activation, - cargo tank pressure digital indication, - isolation switches for cargo tank high level alarms, - emergency shut down station, - mimic diagram of the cargo system. Emergency shut down system in compliance with the relevant design codes, certain of the cargo valves will be fitted with hydraulic, fail safe type actuators which will allow closure of the valves simultaneously from remote locations in the event of an emergency condition arising. Electrical system cargo plant may be supplied from individual or grouped starters fed at the propulsion switchboard voltage, 440V,220V or other voltage according to detailed design and good practice. All equipment Ex type. Gas detection system will have a monitor in Cargo ControL Room, fitted with 5 sampling points. The sampling points will be of the continous reading type, and the heads will be provided with the necessary protection. Cargo level measuring system A full level gauge will be fitted at each tank dome. The float type gauges will be housed in a still-well where the rise and fall action of float on the liquid surface will be transmitted to the readout mechanism by a stainless steel type. High Level Switches will also be arranged. Temperature measuring systems The cargo temperature will be measured and displayed both locally and remotely. Local temperature indication will be by resistance bulb transmitters connected to intrinsically safe, panel mounted digital readouts. There will be also local temperature indication for two cargo liquid and one vapor system. Pressure measuring system The indication will be provided by pressure transmitters cargo tanks, void spaces, Liquid and Vapor System. Trip and Alarm system will provide warning of potentail plant malfunctions. Visual indication of alarm staus will be provided by one of the Cargo Control Room panel. 5.3 Ventilation and Air Condition

5.3.1 Ventilation for Engine Room For ventilation and machinery combustion two supply axial-flow fans will be provided. Capacity of E.R. ventilation system will be evaluated basing on standard ISO 8861. 5.3.2 Ventilation Outside Engine Room Bow Thruster Room will be provided with supply axial-flow fan and natural overpressure exhaust of air. Steering Gear Room will be provided with supply axial-flow fans and natural exhaust of air. Other technical compartments and store rooms will be provided with forced or natural ventilation in accordance to the Regulations and Builder practice. 5.3.3 Air Conditioning of Accommodation Compartments for crew will be provided with single-duct air conditioning system dimensioned for the following conditions: o 0 Winter: outdoor air -20 C / indoor air 20 C; o 0 Summer: outdoor air 35 C/70%RH / indoor air 27 C/50-60%RH An Air Handling Unit equipped with inlet air section with air-filter, oil heater, R404A evaporator as well as necessary adjusting and control devices. Distribution of air by means of ceiling cabin units with individual control of airflow . For galley a separate unit with cooling and heating will be provided. For extraction of air from sanitary spaces a separate fans will be installed. 5.4 Domestic Systems

supplied to crew sanitary spaces, galley and pantry; fresh cold water to toilets and wheelhouse window wipers. 5.4.2 Sanitary Discharge system Discharges from toilet bowls will be passed by gravity to a biological sewage treatment plant or directly via storm flap overboard. Discharges from dispensary will be passed to sewage treatment plant. Remaining discharges will be directed via storm flap overboard. System comprises: - biological sewage treatment plant for 14 persons, - retention tank of 1.5 m3 (hull tank) - one pump of capacity 2.0 m3/h Discharges from galley sinks and floor galley scuppers will be led to defatter, then overboard. Sewage retention tank pumped out with separate pump to barge, overboard or to sewage treatment unit. Shore discharge connection on Main Deck will be provided. 5.4.3 Heating System Technical rooms and non-conditioning spaces in aft part of ship will provided with heaters of capacity sufficient to maintain +2C indoor temperature at -20C outdoor and ventilation system stopped. 5.4.4 Compressed Air System out of Engine Room Service air connections (0.7 MPa) with valve and quick coupling will be provided where necessary.

Fluorescent lighting fixtures will be fitted in sanitary blocks over the mirrors. Berth lights will be fluorescent type. 6.3.2 ER and Technical Compartments Lighting Generally, lighting in service rooms will be provided by 2 x 18 W ceiling fluorescent luminaries. Incandescent lighting up to100 W lamps will be provided in void spaces, emergency exits, lower crane post levels, lockers bonded store, as well as for illumination of sight-glasses, level gauges and bilge wells. In the storage batteries compartment and in the paint store Ex-proof luminaries will be installed. HNA type socket outlets will be provided where necessary.

Bridge wings will be fitted with sockets for remote microphone-speaker connection. Public address system with loudspeakers in all cabins, offices, galley ad corridors will be provided. 7.1 Refrigerating Plants The ship will be provided with two refrigerating plants: - one for provision store - one for accommodation air-conditioning Cooling plant for Air Handling Unit serving crew accommodation will be installed in the A/C Compartment.
