Cadet Command Inter-Divisional Competitions Uniform Inspection Competition Competition Arrangement and Dress Regulations
UNIFORM 1. 2. All officers and cadets are to be in summer uniform with NO wristwatch. All cadets should be in No.1 Uniform. DO NOT roll up their sleeves. Ambulance Cadets should wear their ties.

REPORTING PROCEDURE (No mark will be calculated during this procedure) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Form the squad in close order. The Squad Commander will march the squad into the parade ground. After moving the squad to the advance position, form the squad in open order then keep the squad in ATTENTION position. The Squad Commander will approach and report to the Uniform Inspection Competition Officer at the parade ground. After saluting, the Squad Commander will report and say Good morning, Sir/Maam, No. __ Squad with (total number) officer and (total number) cadets report for uniform inspection, Sir/Maam. Upon receiving the permission to proceed, the Squad Commander will follow the Uniform Inspection Officer-in-Charge to inspect the squad.

DRESS REGULATIONS All officers and cadets must adhere to the latest dress regulations laid down in the Brigade Regulations. The following are extracts from the regulations and is for reference only. 1. General Instructions All uniform must be worn smartly and correctly. Badges and insignia must be correctly placed and neatly attached. With the exception of wedding rings, jewelry of any kind will not be worn. Hair is to be tidy and should not fall below the collar. Boots and shoes are to be clean and well polished and must have heels for safety. Nails must be short and clean. Nail varnish and make-up should not be worn. Uniform for Ambulance Cadets Beret black beret with cap badge worn above the left eye with the band horizontal all round approximately 2.5 cm above the eyebrows, the loose material pulled down to the right side Shirt grey, collar turnover stiffened Tie plain black Lanyard white, plain and with whistle attached, placed inside left pocket Trousers plain black, no turn-ups, length to be adjusted so that lower edge of trouser leg is 2.5 cm from the ground Belt black woven belt with St. John logo Shoes and Socks plain black Uniform for Nursing Cadets Beret black beret with cap badge worn above the left eye with the band horizontal all round approximately 2.5 cm above the eyebrows, the loose material pulled down to the right side Dress length not shorter than 2.5 cm below the knee White collar should cover the grey collar fully Belt same material as dress with stiffened interlining 5.1 cm wide with two black small buttons at the front. Cadet Command Inter-Divisional Competitions Footdrill Competition Reporting Procedure and Standard Words of Command
UNIFORM 1. 2. All officers and cadets are to be in summer uniform with no wristwatch. All cadets should roll up their sleeves above the elbow and no tie is required.

REPORTING PROCEDURE (No mark will be calculated during this procedure) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Form the squad in close order. The Squad Commander will march the squad into the parade ground. After moving the squad to the advance position, keep the squad in ATTENTION position. The Squad Commander will approach and report to the Footdrill Competition Officer at the parade ground. After saluting, the Squad Commander will report and say Good morning, Sir/Maam, No. __ squad with (one) officer and (21) cadets report for footdrill competition, Sir/Maam. Upon receiving the permission to proceed, the commander will move in front of the squad and commence with the competition.
