The following procedure shall be followed for shifting and accommodation of Boarders for the Session 2011-12. A) The shifting of existing boarders of Marichi Hall of Residence to Atri Hall of Residence, Kratu Hall of Residence & Vasistha Hall of Residence shall be completed on or before 08.07.2011. The list of Roll Nos. of the 3rd Semester boarders allotted to the above Halls are given below. B) As the new Ladies Hostel has been handed over by MCL, the old existing Ladies Hostel (Anuradha Hall of Residence) shall be converted to a Boys Hostel. Accordingly, it has been proposed to name the MCL Ladies Hostel as Anuradha Hall of Residence and the existing Anuradha Hall of Residence is to be converted to Boys Hostel named as ANGIRA HALL OF RESIDENCE , where all M.Tech. & M.C.A. 1. All the Final Year B.Tech. & 3rd year B.Tech Girl students shall be accommodated in Arundhati Hall of Residence as per the following principle. Final Year B.Tech. Single Seated x 121 Rooms. Double Seated x 69 Rooms. 3rd Year B.Tech. 2. All the 2nd Year B.Tech., M.Tech. & M.C.A and 3rd Year M.C.A Girl students shall be accommodated in Visakha Hall of Residence as per the following principle. Four Seated x 38 Rooms 2nd Year B.Tech. 2nd Year M.Tech. Three Seated x 5 Rooms rd 3 Year MCA & 2nd Year MCA Four Seated x 5 Rooms C) The following principle is to be followed for accommodating the 1st year B.Tech Boys student in Marichi Hall of Residence . All rooms except Wing rooms - 4 seated Wing rooms - 6 seated Dormitories - 8 seated D) The following principle is to be followed for accommodating the 2nd, 3rd & 4th year B.Tech. Boys student in Atri, Kratu and Vasistha Hall of Residence. - 4 seated 2nd Year B.Tech rd - 3 seated 3 Year B.Tech th 4 Year B.Tech - 3 seated It is proposed that all Girl students will be provided accommodation in the University Girls Halls of Residences. However, the Boy students of 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year B.Tech. Self Sustaining Programmes except IT Branch can not be accommodated in the University Halls of Residences due to non-availability of adequate accommodation in the campus at present. Those who are staying in University staff quarters shall continue to stay in the quarters as available by the University. Contd.P/3

While allowing a boarder to leave the Hall of Residence, the respective Warden shall see that he/she has cleared all dues and handed over all furniture etc. to the Caretaker/Matron, otherwise necessary clearance should be denied. Similarly, a student shall only be allowed for admission into the newly allotted Hall of Residence on production of clearance certificate from the Warden of previous Hall of Residence.

The Wardens are requested to collect the following Mess dues from the boarders as given below:MESS ADVANCE COMMON ROOM Total : : Rs. 14,500.00 (Per annum) Rs. 1,500.00 (Per annum) Rs. 16,000.00 for all Boarders

The boarders are required to deposit the above amount in State Bank of India, Burla Branch in the account of respective Wardens of Halls of Residence. The Wardens, Asst. Wardens and Caretakers are requested to ensure that the whole shifting process becomes smooth and trouble free affair and should be completed by 08.07.2011.
