Oliver Wight to lead IBP workshop at CPO Agenda 100 Forum

Business Improvement specialists, Oliver Wight, are leading a workshop at this years CPO Agenda Forum at RACV Royal Pines, Gold Coast, Australia on 30th August 2011. The interactive workshop, which will be led by Oliver Wight Managing Partner, James Small, will demonstrate how integrated business planning (IBP) is essential for good category management. Small will reveal how to bring demand management in line with consumer demand; how to forecast and plan end-to-end needs; and how to minimise links in the value chain. Delegates will be encouraged to participate in the discussion and put forward their points of view, before applying what they have learnt to their own organisation. The CPO Agenda 100 is a new event, running from 29 to 31 August 2011. The event was created following increasing demand from Chief Procurement Officers in major Australian and New Zealand organisations for a high-level, interactive, workshop-based conference. It will bring together the highest echelons of the procurement profession throughout the region to network and discuss solutions to the principal issues facing CPOs over the coming decade. James Small is an experienced speaker with extensive experience implementing IBP programmes and helping organisations throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region to improve their category management. He regularly challenges top-level executives to think beyond the commonplace and to develop visionary plans for their businesses.
