Professional Experience: Presently working as a RF Optimisation Engineer with AWTG for NOKIA from March 2009-till date. Client: Mobily. Duties and responsibilities:

Working on Zain 3G Project for Phase B and Broadband. Its a major network expansion phase for 2nd carrier across the Jeddah region. Responsible for creating Data fill for all the new sites with HSDPA and HSUPA on 2nd Carrier. Prepare the clusters for all upgrade 2nd Carrier sites. Preparing the Neighbour list plan and creating XML files for ADJS, ADJI and ADJG. Coordinate with RNC Engineer to clear the Alarms and related issues for the new sites. Planning the Node-Bs in the WCDMA RF planning tool defining their related parameters, antenna type, antenna height, antenna tilt, antenna azimuth, CPICH power, cable loss, propagation model parameters. Performing RND activities like: Traffic calculations, Coverage and Capacity Calculations, Scrambling Code planning, Nominal cell planning, detailed planning, GSM/WCDMA Co-Planning.. Providing all the necessary data for Rehoming the Sites. Approving the Technical Site Survey report and preparing Site Acceptance Form Report. Creating the site integration database for new sites providing the details of all the parameters like the UARFCN, Scrambling codes, neighbour data etc Defining the drive test routes and various test cases to measure the KPIs. . Perform Acceptance Test in term of Statistics and Drive test measurement reports after target KPIs are achieved. Dump verification and KPI analysis, Data Base Management, verify poor quality in uplink and downlink. KPI Monitoring and suggesting parameter changes to optimize the network. Analyzing all statistical data reports from NOC to keep track of KPI Targets. Coordinate with DT in troubleshooting on site issues day to day as per requirements and submit the SWPL Report to the customer.

RF Optimization Consultant with SNS for NOKIA in Makkah HAJJ project, from June 2008 - Dec 2008 Client: ZAIN. Duties and responsibilities:

Performing the initial tuning activities for new site before it is On-Air. Analysis of log files for the functionality tests, (Voice/Video Call, SMS, MMS, FTP). Analysis of issue related to softer handover and soft handover as well as checking for Hard Handover problems.

Defining the drive test routes and various test cases to measure the KPIs. Post-Processing of log files for Inter-cluster drives and preparing the reports Analyzing site performance through drive test measurements, detecting installation problems, logical and/or physical RF parameters miss configuration, identifying nonRF related problems and recommending changes to fixing those problems Check the performance of the sites when re-homing is done from one RNC to other, if all the parameters are changed accordingly.

Scanning the frequencies in idle mode to check interfering frequencies.

Responsibility for monitoring and improving network performance on cell sites and micro cells to meet objectives for call drops and call blocks. Continuous network improvements through parameter changes, down tilts, antenna changes, border sector configurations. Prepare and release Optimization Report for the assigned area, Presenting over all view of performance, fault and coverage issues. Proper Co-ordination with other departments like RNC eng, NOC, Field service on the basis of daily performance statistics and network availability.

(BCCH,BSIC,NL,LAC and Parameter planning HOC,POC,GPRS) Familiarity with Neighbor & Frequency optimization using Genex Nastar 2.5. Analyzing RF problems using DT log files on Genex Probe & Assitant 1.51. BSS parameter consistency check using parameter dump from BSC6000 BSC. BSS dimensioning of network depending on inputs given by customer using RND tool. Subcon negotiation and finalization. Training team, checking survey report formats and planning for CW drive test routes. Actively involved in network optimization to meet the agreed KPIs.

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) with specialization in Computer science engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India in Dec 2005. Skills:
