VELUX introduces The No Leak Skylight

The redesigned deck mounted product family now carries a warranty of 20 years on glass, 10 years on skylights, and five years on blinds and controls. Features include a third layer of water protection advanced LoE3 glass for better energy efficiency, higher visible light transmittance, and improved solar heat gain performance pre-finished frames and sashes to eliminate the need for secondary high-cost trips by a painter pre-mounted brackets for quick installation of sunscreen blinds lower roof profile with an updated curved architectural design and a neutral grey colour, preferred by consumers and builders, to blend with most roof materials and colours.

Models VSE, VS, FS Features

Superior LoE3 Glass Advanced LoE3 coating provides more daylight and better heat control for year-round comfort and energy savings.
Visible light transmittance improves 10%. Solar heat gain improves 20%.

Externally mounted rain-sensor.

Self programming RF remote with advanced control options.

Other features:
The pre-attached perimeter flange with a durable, closed-cell foam gasket seals tight to the roof decking. Tighter rough opening, for a warmer installation. Advanced silicone glazing sealant around glass and frame connection is impervious to water and air and will last the life of the skylight. Positioning notches built into the Deck Seal provide a simplified alignment method that can be performed on the roof. Unique condensation gutters and gaskets are incorporated into the skylight to catch and channel condensation out of the home.

Venting electric skylights comes with 20 feet of standard wire.

Patent-pending VELUX, Deck Seal provides an air and water barrier for a leak proof installation. The 1 flange/ bracket sits directly on the roof deck with no gaps.

Full range of blinds, controls and accessories for easy installation.

Blackout blind blocks the light

Pre-mounted system brackets make the installation of sunscreen blinds a snap.
