Specific committees were formed so more community leaders will be more involved in the church WORK

OUR RECENT ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHTS (September October 2009)


September 2009 Since August, we had Friday/Wednesday masses and we hope that you join us at 4:45-5:30PM at the church. The Legion of Mary, who are also Pastoral Council members actively support this. September 19, 2009 With Fr. Clyde Banasan as our very supportive adviser, we elected our Pastoral assembly officers with the purpose of gaining more participation of lay leaders in Pastoral work/evangelization. This was facilitated by Belmer, Edith and Fr. Clyde. September 20, 2009 We had the Pre-Cana Conference/Sacramental Catechesis facilitated by Fr. Clyde, Froilan, Amado, Ellen and Nora and Company. September 25, 2009 The Adult Baptism and confirmation of 15 couples who wished to solemnize their union with a church marriage. September 26, 2009 The Mass wedding of 15 couples in our community and followed by a mass baptism of 14 children by Fr. Clyde. September 26, 2009 The Medical Mission coordinated by Aida and Ellen was conducted by our very own Dr. Josie Tindongan and sponsor, 37 members of

Our Adult members are provided with the ff. activities: Creative Team Building Adult Evangelization (Bible Study) Regular Pastoral and Council meetings Assist liturgical services

OUR HOPES? In assisting our parish priest, we hope we will continue CHARACTER BUILDING so we could live harmoniously as cohesive FAMILY, as ONE UNITED COMMUNITY. OUR DREAMS? For you to JOIN US in our different activities. For you to SUGGEST more activities, we will try our best to consider them. For you to SUPPORT our goal for a better Loakan Community. YOUTH MINISTRY This Ministry aims to reach out to their fellow youth ad make a difference in their community through the ff. activities: Praise and worship Music (Choir) Team Building Youth Counseling

CHILDRENS MINISTRY Our little transformers for Christ are provided with the ff. activities: Values Formation Catechism Music (Choir)

SOCIAL ACTION MINISTRY (Community Outreach/Alay Kapwa It is a joy as well as a blessing to share and help our brothers and sisters in need through: Share-a-joy Activities

Clydes guidance October 25, 2009 The Pastoral Assembly meeting with creative team building activities provided for maximum participation of its members in DECISION-MAKING and CHARACTER/TEAM BUILDING.
