16 PCID1,PCID3 TC_QR_016 Make sure that all of the crew members are acclimatized at the start of this trip1. The crew members are acclimatized. The alert FDP CC Acclimatised will get fired for duty1 since the measured FDP is more than the allowable FDP

Check for the alerts for the assigned crew. Check the values shown for the Measured FDP: Measured FDP = time interval between Actual Report time(UTC) and arrival time(UTC) of last operating sector in the duty. In this case from 02:00 to 17:00 which is 15:00 hours Check the values for Allowable FDP: (CALCULATION LOGIC) Allowable FDP = value from table wrt planned local report time + inflight relief value Value from table wrt planned local report time = from table A for time 05:00 (DOH local time is UTC+3hrs) and for 1 sector = 11:00 Inflight extension gained = 0 (since value is not set in IOB) So the Allowable FDP = 11:00

Measured FDP= 15:00 hours

The allowable FDP calculated is 11:00

Check whether the Allowable FDP shown is 11:00 in the alert message The allowable FDP shown in the alert message is 11:00 hrs The alert FDP CC Acclimatised wont fire for duty 2 because the crew members are not acclimatised before the start of duty2

Check whether the alert is fired for the 2nd Duty

Rule : FDP CC Acclimatised with Inflight Relief

17 PCID1,PCID4 TC_QR_017 Make sure that all of the crew members are acclimatized at the start of this trip1.

The crew members are acclimatized.

Check for the alerts for the assigned crew.

The alert FDP CC Acclimatised will get fired for duty1 since the measured FDP is more than the allowable FDP

Check the values shown for the Measured FDP: Measured FDP = time interval between Actual Report time(UTC) and arrival time(UTC) of last operating sector in the duty. In this case from 02:00 to 17:00 which is 15:00 hours Check the values for Allowable FDP: (CALCULATION LOGIC) Allowable FDP = value from table wrt planned local report time + inflight relief value Value from table wrt planned local report time = from table A for time 05:00 (DOH local time is UTC+3hrs) and for 1 sector = 11:00 Inflight extension gained = 3hrs from IOB So the Allowable FDP = 11:00+3:00 = 14:00

Measured FDP= 15:00 hours

The allowable FD calculated is 14:00

Check whether the Allowable FDP shown is 14:00 in the alert message The allowable FDP shown in the alert message is 14:00 hrs The alert FDP CC Acclimatised wont fire for duty 2 because the crew members are not acclimatised before the start of duty2

Rule : FDP CC Acclimatised with Inflight Relief less than 90 minutes

18 PCID1,PCID5 TC_QR_018

Make sure that all of the crew members are acclimatized at the start of this trip1.

The crew members are acclimatized.

Check for the alerts for the assigned crew. Check the values shown for the Measured FDP: Measured FDP = time interval between Actual Report time(UTC) and arrival time(UTC) of last operating sector in the duty. In this case from 02:00 to 17:00 which is 15:00 hours Check the values for Allowable FDP: (CALCULATION LOGIC) Allowable FDP = value from table wrt planned local report time + inflight relief value Value from table wrt planned local report time = from table A for time 05:00 (DOH local time is UTC+3hrs) and for 1 sector = 11:00 Inflight extension gained = 0 . Since the minimum time that can be considered as rest for In Flight Relief is 3 hours, the minimum value applicable for this is 1hour 30 minutes. Therefore any value entered in the form of less that 1 hour 30 minutes will not be considered for any extension to the FDP involving In Flight Relief. So the Allowable FDP = 11:00+0:00 = 11:00

The alert FDP CC Acclimatised will get fired for duty1 since the measured FDP is more than the allowable FDP

Measured FDP= 15:00 hours

The allowable FDP calculated is 11:00

Check whether the Allowable FDP shown is 11:00 in the alert message The allowable FDP shown in the alert message is 11:00 hrs

Check whether the alert is fired for the 2nd Duty Rule : FDP CC Acclimatised -Split Duty Extension

The alert FDP CC Acclimatised wont fire for duty 2 because the crew members are not acclimatised before the start of duty2

SPLIT DUTY: Suppose if the duty contains more than two sectors and the gap between these sectors are more than 3 hours, then SPLIT duty extension will come into effect. In this case, Allowable FDP = value from table+ inflight relief + split duty extension Split Duty Extension = (time between the sectors-00:30)/2 If the gap between sectors is more than 10 hours, then the rest is taken as 10 hours itself and the extension is calculated. So maximum extension which can be utilized by means of split duty is 10:00/2 = 05:00 19 PCID1,PCID6 TC_QR_019 Make sure that all of the crew members are acclimatized at the start of this trip A The crew members are acclimatized. The alert FDP CC Acclimatised will get fired for duty1 since the measured FDP is more than the allowable FDP

Check for the alerts for the assigned crew.

Check the values for Measured FDP Measured FDP =15 hours Check the values for Allowable FDP: (CALCULATION LOGIC) Allowable FDP = value from table wrt planned local report time + inflight relief value + split duty extension Value from table wrt planned local report time =from table A = 11:00 Inflight extension gained = 0 Since Inflight is not set in IOB for the sectors in the Duty 1 Split Duty Extension = (time between the sectors-00:30)/2 = (4:30 00:30)/2 = 2 hrs So the Allowable FDP = 11:00+2:00 = 13:00 The allowable FDP calculated is 13:00

Check whether the Allowable FDP shown is 13:00 in the alert message The allowable FDP shown in the alert message is 13:00 hrs 20 PCID1,PCID6 TC_QR_020 Make sure that all of the crew members are acclimatized at the start of this trip B Check for the alerts for the assigned crew. Check the values for Measured FDP The crew members are acclimatized. The alert FDP CC Acclimatised will get fired for duty1 since the measured FDP is more than the allowable FDP Measured FDP =20 hours

Check the values for Allowable FDP: (CALCULATION LOGIC) Allowable FDP = value from table wrt planned local report time + inflight relief value + split duty extension Value from table wrt planned local report time =from table A = 11:00 Inflight extension gained = 0 Since Inflight is not set in IOB for the sectors in the Duty 1 Split Duty Extension = (time between the sectors-00:30)/2 = (10:30 00:30)/2 = 5 hrs So the Allowable FDP = 11:00+5:00 = 16:00 The allowable FDP calculated is 16:00

Check whether the Allowable FDP shown is 16:00 in the alert message The allowable FDP shown in the alert message is 16:00 hrs Rule : FDP CC Acclimatised -Delayed Reporting Scenario 21 PCID1 TC_QR_021

Make sure that if a delayed reporting of less than 4 hours are present, the measured and Allowable FDPs are calculated as mentioned below. Measured FDP = based on Actual Report time(between actual Report time UTC and last operating sector arrival time UTC in the duty) Allowable FDP = based on Planned Report time( Look at table A wrt Planned local report time) (In CMS, for a planned flight the actual and planned timings will be the same. To make a delay, either send a corresponding delay message from MCS or make the dep_sts and arr_sts status to Y in WS_OPNL_LEG_ACYS and change the report time. This time report time change will reflect to ACTUAL The measured and Allowable FDPs are calculated as TIMES which can be seen from STR02 form) mentioned in case of Delayed reporting of less than 4 hours. 22 PCID1 TC_QR_022 Make sure that if a delayed reporting of more than 4 hours are present, the measured and Allowable FDPs are calculated as mentioned. Measured FDP = Time interval between (Planned UTC Report Time +4 hours) to last operating sector planned arrival UTC time in the duty Allowable FDP = calculated with planned as well as actual local report time and the MORE LIMITING value is taken. By MORE LIMITING we mean, the less/smaller of the two values. Means with 05:00 report time for 1 sector, FDP from table is 11 and with 07:00 report The measured and Allowable FDPs are calculated as time for 1 sector, FDP from table is 13. More limiting mentioned in case of Delayed reporting of greater than 4 value is 11. So that is taken hours.

Check the values for Measured FDP Check the values for Allowable FDP: (CALCULATION LOGIC) Allowable FDP = value from table wrt planned local report time + inflight relief value + split duty extension Value from table wrt planned local report time =from table A = 11:00 Inflight extension gained = 0 Since Inflight is not set in IOB for the sectors in the Duty 1 Split Duty Extension = (time between the sectors-00:30)/2 = (10:30 00:30)/2 = 5 hrs So the Allowable FDP = 11:00+5:00 = 16:00

Measured FDP =20 hours

The allowable FDP calculated is 16:00

Check whether the Allowable FDP shown is 16:00 in the alert message The allowable FDP shown in the alert message is 16:00 hrs Rule : FDP CC Unacclimatised -Delayed Reporting Scenario 35 PCID1 TC_QR_035 Make sure that if a delayed reporting of less than 4 hours are present, the measured and Allowable FDPs are calculated as mentioned below. 36 PCID1 TC_QR_036 Make sure that if a delayed reporting of more than 4 hours are present, the measured and Allowable FDPs are calculated as mentioned.

Rule : FDP CC Unacclimatised - CALL OUT FROM STANDBY SCENARIO:

37 PCID1 TC_QR_037 Make sure that the allowable FDP and Measured FDP calculation are as below in case of Call out from HOME standby less than 6 hours case. Measured FDP = starts at the start of the duty report time to the arrival time of last operating sector in the duty (ACTUAL UTC times) Allowable FDP = time spent on Home standby + The measured and Allowable FDPs are calculated as value from table based on Planned Local Report time mentioned in case of Call out from HOME standby less than 6 of the trip hours case. 38 PCID1 TC_QR_038 Make sure that the allowable FDP and Measured FDP calculation are as below in case of Call out from HOME standby more than 6 hours case. Measured FDP = starts at the start of the duty report time to the arrival time of last operating sector in the duty (ACTUAL UTC times) Allowable FDP = (time spent on Home standby) + (value from table based on Planned Local Report The measured and Allowable FDPs are calculated as time of the trip) (standby time in excess of 6 mentioned in case of Call out from HOME standby more than hours) 6 hours case.

TC_QR_042 Make sure that the allowable FDP and Measured FDP calculation are as below in case of Call out from HOME standby during the times 22:00 to 08:00 and Crew is given more than 2 hour NOTICE PERIOD: Measured FDP = starts at the start of the home standby to the arrival time of last operating sector in the duty (ACTUAL UTC times) Allowable FDP = (value from table based on Planned Local Start time of the Home standby activity) The measured and Allowable FDPs are calculated as mentioned.

Rule : FDP CC Unacclimatised - SKIP SHORT DUTY CONCEPT

43 PCID1 TC_QR_043

Suppose we have a trip with duty1, duty2 and duty3. Duty2 is a office activity with more than 6 hours duration. Crew is acclimatized at start of duty1 and unacclimatised at start of duty3. Now while Allowable FDP calculation for duty3, we will look at the rest time available between duty2 and duty3. We wont have to look at the rest between duty1 and duty3 since duty 2 is more than 6 hours in duration. This rest value is taken for the Allowable FDP calculation

Make sure that the allowable FDP and Measured FDP calculation are correct as given

Flight Crew FDP Rules.

44 PCID1 TC_QR_044

Check whether the Flight Crew FDP rules are affected by the FDP Minutes given through IOB.

The Flight Crew FDP rules should not be affected by the FDP Minutes given through IOB.
