spacelet specifications Every good idea needs a place to start; every theory needs a beginning.

The specifications listed below for 'elementary particles' should be self-evident, but some might accuse me of ambiguity without them. In any case, one must begin somewhere; when engineers begin a task, they usually define specifications of the project and so we begin. i will attempt to provide a 'bare minimum' of requirements and required concepts, being a minimalist myself, assuming the Prime Cause is also a minimalist, and go from there .. From here-on-in, we define generally spacelet as short for spacetime wavelet: a very specific arrangement of energy, sometimes oscillation of energy, and sometimes multiple-manifestation of energy. We will use very familiar terminology but get very specific about characteristics in this way, defining a whole new set of elementary particles with very familiar names and properties.. photon: a very peculiar spacelet that only travels at one speed through any given impeding medium, let's define that speed to be one in a vacuum, in all other media depends on media impedance, the energy in a photon oscillates between orthogonal (orthogonal to line-of-flight and each other) electromagnetic vectors and temporal curvature sinusoidally, the exact shape of temporal curvature needs to be determined, and ideally that shape will determine the fact: photons are uncharged. Note: media boundaries causing effects such as reflection, refraction, and diffraction must be accommodated by any spacelet design. antiphoton: if photons are peculiar, even more-so are antiphotons, this spacelet has very slight negative temporal curvature (as opposed to the very slight positive curvature of photons) that may or may not oscillate out-of-phase with any electromagnetic components (if any), more likely, this negative temporal curvature oscillates out-of-phase with some miniscule charge, these charges form a cloud around larger charges described below being the mediators of electromagnetism replacing virtual photons from conventional theory, it would be hasty to describe them as 'negative energy' since they simply have negative curvature not negative energy, and likely there are three forms: neutral, positive, and negative. Note, to-be-determined: whether or not speed is 1 or greater. neutrino: may be thought of as a 'neutral photon' (with no electromagnetic components), travel at speed 1, must have very slight positive curvature, perhaps temporal curvature oscillates out-of-phase with magnetic moment, properties and shape TBD,.. antineutrino: may be thought of as a neutral antiphoton, has very slight negative curvature which may or may not oscillate out-of-phase with magnetic moment, uncharged as neutrinos are, shape TBD,.. electron: positively charged spacelet, shape TBD, the positive surface charge attracts negative antiphotons thereby allowing interactions with other electrons and protons, ideally, the shape of the electron will determine the fact: it has positive charge e, the mass of an electron has a very specific relationship to that of any proton described below, the electron and proton form the basis of atoms and chemistry,.. proton: negatively charged spacelet, shape TBD, the negative surface charge attracts positive antiphotons thereby allowing interactions with other protons and electrons, ideally, the shape of the proton will determine the fact: it has negative charge -e, the mass of the proton has a very specific relationship to that of any electron described above,..

positron: negative curvature version of electron, has opposite charge of electron, and thereby attracts positive antiphotons,.. antiproton: negative curvature version of proton, has opposite charge of proton, and thereby attracts negative antiphotons,.. Note 1: speeds of last four 'massive' spacelets may not exceed 1 in vacuum, the natural 'governor' on this speed is relativistic mass which tends to infinity as speed approaches 1, relativistic mass/energy is temporal curvature enhancement, the simplest description of inertia is 'lack of relativistic energy' or lack of temporal enhancement, mass is localized temporal curvature,.. So we see the basis of mass, inertia, and relativistic mass is temporal curvature. Note 2: all the spacelets described so far are STABLE; there is no half-life; they do not decay; the wave-forms are inherently stable; left alone, they will 'last forever'; of course, photons can be emitted and absorbed, but because of CONSERVATION OF CURVATURE, any photons emitted or absorbed correspond to antiphoton emission/absorption. Further, any nuclear reaction, whether involving mutual annihilation, pair-production, fusion, or fission these are all assumed to balance curvature in that input curvature equals output curvature (curvature of components equals curvature of products). Curvature conservation and stable wavelets appears to be the core features of our universe .. Some important unstable spacelets' specifications follow.. Perhaps just as important as stability is the concept of instability: everything in balance. There are composite wave-forms crucially important for nuclear structure: spacelets stable within the nucleus but unstable without.. We call these semi-stable wave-forms neutrons. Convention describes neutrons as composed of various quarks (as they do protons) but from the spacelet POV, perhaps it's simpler to describe them as composite wavelets.. neutron: a composite spacelet comprised of one proton, one electron, and one antineutrino, obviously, these waves do not destructively interfere, when freed from a nucleus they appear to have a half-life of instability, the half-life is very specific with a random distribution about that mean, consistent within the TR framework nuclear stability owes itself to temporal curvature within the nucleus and is absent without.. It seems a fact of our existence that some nuclei are stable and some are not. Perhaps, if every nuclide was stable, there'd be 'too much order' in our universe and too many chemicals unrelated to life.. As it is, iron is the most stable nuclide with others following in close step: oxygen, carbon,.. These life bearing chemicals are stable for a reason: we wouldn't be here without them. The fact other nuclides are unstable is a testament to the requirements of life. This is yet another point that indicates we should acknowledge and respect the Prime Cause. Addendum: for electrons and protons, there are very specific relationships between what we call 'spin', charge, mass, and elastic energy, there are two factors relating them: what i call temporal elasticity, Y0, and temporal impedance, Z0,.. The fact we can construct a consistent framework explaining quantum phenomena with three concepts: wavelet, elasticity, and impedance indicates, in itself, this framework 'may be on the right track'.. With all due respect to the Lady Engineer of course.. ;)
